Mount Tamborine is a stunning environment, on top of the range 40 minutes drive from the Gold Coast. At 535m above sea level, the red volcanic soil and a good rainfall ensures a lush environment thrives that is home to a wide range of bird life. The mountain is also home to several vineyards and breweries, a distillery, many many restaurants and cafes, a host of curiosity shops and two farmer and craft markets each month. The mountain caters for those who love nature with many bush walking tracks. It is also the gateway to O’Reillys, Lamington and Binna Burra national parks. Sunset on Handglider Hill over looking Canunga with a glass of wine in hand is not to be missed. This architect-designed house is set on a 1.5-acre property near Mount Tamborine. The area's red volcanic soil and good rainfall ensure a lush environment for a wide range of birds. The area is also home to vineyards, breweries, and many restaurants.

Take the picnic basket and rug provided, & explore the Mountain. We are located on the Main Road leading into Gallery Walk. Gilston Orchard is a rural property 9 kilometres along the Nerang Beaudesert/Murwillumbah Rd from Nerang. We are at walking distance from Hinze Dam with its View Cafe open each day. Easy access to the Gold Coast glitter strip, beaches, and theme parks. Also easy access to Binnaburra (O'Reillys), Springbrook, Beechmont, Mt Tamborine plus further out West to Canungra, Beaudesert etc. This is a nice spot from which to bike ride with a mountain bike track just across the dam wall.

Hamilton's Hideaway - self contained apartment.

Large, light décor, main room with queen bed, kitchenette and dining, separate and very private bathroom, plus external deck. Nearby (walk 200 metres) shops and medical, restaurants, cafes, pizzas, liquor outlet, small supermarket, dentist; in the opposite direction it is 300 metres to Palm Grove NP. Note - this is a secluded, private place of comfort and not suited to children of any age. Nor is it a suitable place for wedding preparations, gatherings or any events.
