Wow!!!! Great stay at AirBnb in Octocal Beach. We visited Costa Rica for our daughter’s nuptials and indeed our stay at this AirBnb was an unforgettable experience. It was an upscale home away from home. The service was excellent! The atmosphere soothing yet vibrant, calm, and relaxing. The rooms were clean, spacious with stunning views. The amenities were top notch and every needed for a home away from home was readily available in the home. 5 Stars – Unforgettable Beachside Retreat! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Palm Beach Estates! Dirk was an exceptional host—always quick to respond and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The house is just steps from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the ocean anytime. We especially loved the outdoor grill area—it was perfect for cooking up the fresh red snapper we got from the local fish truck. So delicious! The pool was a major highlight for our family. The colorful lights at night made it feel magical, and we spent many evenings playing Marco Polo with our girls—such great memories. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, with great access to local spots and the beach just around the corner. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable beach getaway!

Casa Blanca was everything we hoped it was and more! Very well stocked house, with incredibly comfy beds and wonderful linens! The backyard was perfect for hanging out and relaxing with our group! Collin, was amazing and very communicative and helped us quickly with anything we needed! This is my second time staying in Hacienda Pinilla and I’m so happy we choose this community again! It feels very safe as always, with loads of amenities within the gates! We will definitely be back!

Great time for my family of five staying in both of the tiny houses on Diego's property. The howler monkeys visited us again and my kids enjoyed the hot tub. Playa Potrero is walkable to this private secure location and has everything we need for a simple beach vacation in a undiscovered beach in Costa Rica's dry forest. The location is great for Liberia airport and we were able to visit Tamarindo and Monteverde Cloud Forest in addition to enjoying the quiet Playa Potrero.

We had a great stay! The place was nice, clean, and just about 300 feet from the beach, with several other beaches nearby as well. The hosts were very friendly, responsive, and gave us a warm welcome. Highly recommend!

This place was absolutely flawless. The beauty of the views, the pools, the shuttles were perfect! We cannot say enough kind words about his service and the home. His communication is amazing. He even gave us a wonderful recommendation for snorkeling and we had a blast.

Cassie was hands down the best Airbnb host we've had! She was the most thoughtful and nicest host, sharing a wealth of information in the welcome letter prior to our arrival. In the letter, her and her husband thought of everything to include to make it such a welcome and comfortable stay! Their home is so beautiful and we are so thankful for them to share it with us. What stood out was Cassie's quick responses and going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay, even before we asked! For example, Cassie knew that we were traveling with our toddler and asked if there was anything else she could provide for our child. She arranged for a highchair to be delivered which was so helpful! She was so accommodating and the best host in the most beautiful home.

Casa Serendipity was pure magic for our family. As a wellness practitioner and mama of two little ones, I’ve stayed in many places—but this was truly a sanctuary. Mariela is the most incredible host—like a 24/7 concierge angel. From airport pick-up, car rental, grocery tips, to curated local gems—she thought of everything. The home is stunning, spacious, and incredibly private, yet perfectly located to easily explore the best beaches, restaurants, and adventures. We woke to birdsong, made meals in the outdoor kitchen, lounged by the pool, and even picked fresh mangoes. It was peaceful, secure, and deeply nourishing. Every detail supported ease and connection. After full days exploring, it felt like coming home to serenity. I would stay here every time—we’re already dreaming of our return. Mariela, thank you for creating this heart-centered haven. Hotel Balu was so lovely. We wish we had more time there to enjoy the casita’s space. The coffee machine was amazing and so were the outdoor amenities. Absolutely recommend!

Fantastic beach compound. Christelle's house is the very northernmost on Brasilita where its quiet. House is directly across the road (as close as you can get) from the beach. This is a new house with all the conveniences you would expect on a higher end listing. The outdoor is exactly as pictured and makes it easy to eat outdoors and lounge at the pool. Good security with locking gates and an electrical fence on the wall and an alarm system for the house. Just a great spot if you want to get on and off the beach fast and not be surrounded by lots of people yet be very close to some of the best restaurants in Guanacaste.

Three generations of our family (parents, children and grandchildren) spent 9 days in the Villa enjoying the pool, patio and roomy house. Our cleaner kept the house incredibly clean. The gardener did the same for the pool and yard. The well equipped kitchen had everything we required. The beach chairs and snorkelling equipment was put to good use. We can’t say enough about Ilse. She responded to our questions very effectively. We were very pleased to meet her in person when we arrived at the Villa on the first day and not just exchange texts as so often happens with Air BnB rentals. All in all, we enjoyed swimming or simply lazing in the yard. On other occasions we took day trips to several national park, beaches and zip lining. It was a relaxing holiday in a gorgeous setting. Father Rooster was the perfect setting to celebrate two birthdays. We recommend Villa Alicia for your home away from home.

We really enjoyed our visit. The house was super clean, super well maintained. Hosts were quick to answer questions, even to give us suggestions on things to do or visit. The pool was superb, the area is very safe. What a positive!

It rained for most of our visit - and that was totally fine with us because we loved Coconut Cottage. It was the perfect size and more for our family of six. Even with the rain we had many activities inside the house that we took full advantage of - the movie theater, pool table, foosball, video games- endless entertainment! It was convenient to walk into town as well as rent a golf cart to drive around town and charge overnight under the carport. We loved having daily visits from the plush surroundings - from monkeys to frogs to iguanas! We hope to be back soon!

The place is very conveniently located, 12 minutes from playa avellanas and about 30 minutes from Tamarindo. The hosts are amazing and Gabriel, particularly, is super open to looking for the client to be comfortable…for example, after check-out we went to the beach. As we were filled with sand, we consulted him if he allowed us to use showers that were in the area of the Airbnb parking lot. Gabriel very kindly allowed us to use it, and even let us use the restrooms of the place before we went to San Jose again.

Great lodging here. The treehouse is charming and full of character. The surroundings are filled with nature and beautiful animals (including the separate and well-attended doggie rescue). This was a very pleasant retreat and I would return there if I was back in that side of Guanacaste. Also, the beaches are close from a driving perspective.
