Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Takitumu District

Thank You for letting us still stay, even when you were away and can say that this was the best. Love the morning wakeup calls, even at 5 in the morning from the roosters in the area lol and would listen to this rather than the traffic along the main road.

Wow! This place looks even better than the photos, it is literally on the beach, white coral sand all the way to the steps to get inside, like a movie. We were a group of 4 adults ( myself, husband and 2 adult kids) the set up couldn’t be more perfect for this kind of family group, the master bedroom/ensuite is connected but just off the main part of the house so would suit any family with older kids that you don’t need to see to during the night. The lounge and master both have tvs with Netflix. There is a massive fridge and everything you need in a kitchen, bbq on the deck. Also loved the kitchen had all the essentials like oil, s & p, condiments etc ( heaps of air bnbs don’t have this and it’s annoying). The only thing I wanted that was missing was a coffee plunger but I bought one and donated it for future guests. The beach directly in front is calm and shallow, perfect for kids and a morning dip. Bar next door is chill except weekend but shuts promptly at 10, No problem at all.

Tama Is an amazing Host!! So well at communicating and always checking up on you even before you arrive to see how everything is or If you need anything and is super flexible with working around you. The Airbnb itself is absolutely beautiful, you feel at home (literally home away from home) it’s down a very private road and it’s a very private home! Can walk around in your toggies all day ! You are next to locals who are so friendly and will come over and say Hi but never invade your space, there dogs are so beautiful but shy my toddler loved them! I can’t flaw this place honestly, no mosquitoes inside no sort of creepy crawles just the beautiful sounds of trees blowing and chickens in the morning(The best kind of alarm). I highly recommend and we will be back! Tama your the man

We had a perfect stay at Shelley & Te Aramaʻs place. The house was the perfect size for my partner and I. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and they made sure to leave lots of fresh bananas, coconuts, and lilakoi for our arrival. We landed at 1am, and our late check-in was very easy. Only a minute walk away from our favorite cafe, Soul Cafe. Mahalo nui loa, Shelley & Te Arama!

I felt I could message the host anytime before and while we were there and she responded quickly. Helpful. Great ammenities.

Loved staying here. Would stay here again. Host was super responsive and helpful. The property is super close to the shop, restaurants, car/scooter hire and to lagoon.

Are and Samantha’s home was ideal for our needs. We were a family of five adults and we wanted a laidback Rarotongan holiday. We had everything we needed in the home. Plenty of kitchen equipment, good indoor/outdoor flow, lots of linen. Even milk, bread and some extra food items that meant we could breakfast in the morning, without having to get to a supermarket first. We did appreciate that, and being able to have a cup of tea when we arrived after 11pm. I am happy to recommend this home. It’s not a five star luxury resort but an ordinary loved home, and it was excellent for us. Thank you.

Had an amazing time staying here, everything was as described. The pool and deck were highlights in the evenings and the beach two minutes walk away was great for snorkeling. Marks communication was great and the services were appreciated, especially great to get fresh towels when the weather wasn't great for drying things between snorkels/pool swims. Highly recommend and hope to come back again sometime soon.

Jacqui’s place was fantastic! The location was amazing: just a quick drive from the airport, near (within a short or long walk) nice restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops, but set far enough from the main road where it’s very peaceful and quiet. And it’s right on the beach! And on the west side of the island - the sunsets were amazing, and the stars at night were unlike I’ve ever seen! The unit itself was great: clean and modern with every amenity you could need. I highly recommend if you’re in Rarotonga. Worth every penny and then some! Thanks Jacqui!

We had a wonderful stay at Carlos' unit-we stayed in the 2 bedroom downstairs.Set on a lush property, with massive garden at the front, large living areas (2 living areas inside) and a front patio and back patio! My 2 kids (9 and 6yrs) played endless games around the property and thoroughly enjoyed the space. We also enjoyed coffees on the front balcony surrounded by trees, birds and ever present chickens and roosters! It was quiet but well placed in the west of the island right next door to Edgewater resort where there are meal options and acitivities we could join. The walk to the beach/lagoon is only few mins, but reef shoes are a must - Carlos has kindly provided these along with snorkels etc.There were countless thoughtful touches, such as DVD's, board games, library of books, CD/AV/USB/phone connections (connectivity was not a problem!) Carlos also respected our privacy but was always around (and welcome) for a friendly chat - he knows his island home extensively.Hope to be back!

Sue was a phenomenal host who went above and beyond to take care of us during our stay. Beautiful views of the beach and the sunrise can be enjoyed in the communal space. Highly recommend this place!

Lynn was an exceptional host. Thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely kind. From the moment we booked, communication was smooth and clear. She had everything perfectly prepared for our arrival, and it was easy to feel at home right away. The accommodation was spotless and well-equipped, and you could really tell that a lot of care had gone into every detail. Lynn was always quick to respond and happy to help with anything we needed, which made our stay even more relaxed. We truly appreciated her warm hospitality and would absolutely stay here again. Great value for a couple. Wonderful location with proximity to Wigmores store, Vaima on the beach and The yellow hibiscus. Also on main road so good access to bus and absolutely beautiful beach right across the road.

Julie and I would like to thank Lotu from the moment I booked the communication was first rate . The property was perfect for the two of us and was exactly as described and only had to walk out the back door to be on the Lagoon The fruit basket coffee tea even milk in the fridge was appreciated Also a big thankyou to Sala who called in regularly to see if we needed anything We couldnt have been any happier and didnt want to leave after our 4 week stay Once again Thankyou. This accommodation had everything I needed, I would definitely stay there again and recommend this to anyone else. I have no complaints. so private, just around the corner from muri Beach and night market. Very quiet are, tidy and clean. Thank you to the host for keeping an eye on my Father when I returned back to NZ. communication was on point. out of all the accommodation this one will have to be a A+++
