Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Tailem Bend

Having lived at the cottage as a child it was wonderful to go back and stay. Elins Cottage has been updated beautifully with all the latest mods without loosing the character and charm of the historic house. Stylishly decorated the house has a peaceful ambience, and the grounds outside have been meticulously kept with lush lawn, plenty of shaded areas and a wonderful outdoor entertaining area. The “piece de resistance” for me was the glamorous bathroom,with bath that can only be described as “heavenly”! One bath and I was in love. Perfect porcelain bath with the best water pressure and steamy hot water. Am absolutely wonderful stay in the best peaceful spot

My first time staying at an airbnb as I’ve always been skeptical but Rachel’s place was perfect! It met all the expectations. Kids had a great time and Rachel was always responsive and flexible! Thankyou Rachel

We had a wonderful stay. It was very quiet and peaceful with a great selection of wineries close by. It was a treat to watch the cattle meandering and being fed in the evening. Perfect couples getaway. Highly recommended! Hannah was a breeze to communicate with and very helpful 👌

absolutely breathtaking vintage house with modern features, beautiful scenery, some friendly chickens to relax with, big comfy bed, serene getaway near picturesque towns and fun drive through the hills. defenatly reckomend for a quite couples retreat :)

We found Andrea’s house to be clean and homely with all amenities you could need. Kids loved going down to the river for a quick fish.

What time I spent there was outstanding. The place was described perfectly, The views and access of the river was something else and not to forget!! I will be definitely bringing the family back here again

Great Easter getaway, Easter on the river was relaxing and cosy. Very close to the Wellington Hotel and the boat ramp wasn’t too far either. House was clean and tidy just didn’t realise the home was elevated so lots of stairs. Bathrooms were clean as well as a well equipped kitchen. Balcony had great seating for a big group and a great view of the river.

Great location and great size home. Lee and Randall were quick at answering messages . The little extras were great the chocolate almonds were a favourite. Even though we didn’t need them this time the microwave pouches for baby sterilisation could have been handy. We will be going back ! Check-in and check-out times were great .

Absolutely loved our stay at Lynton’s place! The space was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. It was peaceful, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Thanks again!

we had a lovely stay. Tania and Cameron were great hosts and were very accommodating. the cabin has everything you need for a relaxing stay. we loved the cabin location, very peaceful and secluded with a great view. Great 4WD tracks that cater for all levels and had a lot of fun. Will be back to camp with kids near the river - campsites look great and spacious.

Loved our stay here! Close to town but in a quiet peaceful location. The cabin had stunning views and was clean and decorated very nicely! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly. Kath was helpful, friendly and gave clear instructions.

Lyntons accomodation was excellent. The cabin was more modern,spacious than we expected & spotless clean. Lynton also took the time to call me upon arriving in Adelaide to ensure we had an easy arrival & access to the property. We will definitely stay again,Thank you Lynton👍

A huge shout-out to Lynton & Sammy, who went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed. Their kindness and attentiveness were unmatched—Lynton even gave us a call to confirm our arrival time and had the heater on, so we arrived in a warm, cozy space. His thoughtfulness made our stay extra special. Highly recommend this gem of a place!

Peaceful and quiet with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Great for families starting out with kayaking. Easy to get around by car. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Lynton was a deadset character who made us feel right at home, always up for a chat, made us feel part of the family I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a great stress free vacation only a short drive to Tailem bend...love the place and will definitely be staying with them again..
