Just a perfect house to get a way from city and spend time in peace. We rented this house to celebrate New Year and that was a great choice. You have everything you need to cook and serve dinner, the fireplace and a big screen tv to get a cosy movie night. So many small and beautiful details that makes you feel just like you came to visit a family on holidays. Luis is super friendly and attentive. He even wrote us some time before arrival to clarify if we need anything special to make our stay as comfortable as possible, that was super sweet, we appreciate it. 100% recommend this accommodation option

This little house was perfect and very comfortable, we had everything we needed and the location was great for what we wanted to do. Jose is a very pro-active host and made check in and locating the house very easy. The local villagers were also very friendly which made us feel very welcome.

Dona Manuela was always very kind from the beginning and was one of the reasons for choosing this accommodation. The house has very generous dimensions and surroundings that inspire peace and tranquility. There is no shortage of utensils and all indoor and outdoor equipment is of very good quality. Excellent accommodation and I can only recommend it. Thanks to Dona Manuela for all the kindness and for making us feel at home.

The interior space is small but the goal was not to stay at home, we like the fact that there are several things for the children, the pool area is spectacular, there are several leisure areas and the fact that there are pool items was also a plus. It has a very nice deck and I really liked the sofa, great for socializing. For me, the experience was worth it and I would go back.

The listing was just as described . It was Cosy & warm and had all the amenities needed for a perfect stay . The location was perfect and the choice of this little village was great . Of all the villages and towns in Serra da Estrela , coja is the perfect place to set base . I will definitely stay at Jane’s should I return to coja .

It's perfect with a group of friends like us or for families. You'll find everything you need and you can enjoy your staying also with a bad weather thanks to the diferent spaces of the house. Great house, very well-equipped, easy to make Checkin, clean and compatible with your photos. Our stay was very quiet and the host was worried to the point that we arrived and the house was already air-conditioned, since it was cold outside, we love it, super recommended!

We had such a great time with our two children (6 years and 2 months old). The apartment was sparkling clean and had everything we needed, including things for the children. It was nice and cool inside, even when the outside temperature was quite high at times (above 30 degrees Celsius). The mattresses were comfortable and the shower perfect. We also appreciated the little touches all around - toys for the pool, sunscreen or hand sanitiser in the common areas. Our 6 year old son was fascinated by the chickens and loved feeding them. The area itself is quiet which we loved. At the same time, Lidl was only 15 minutes away by car. We also enjoyed spending time at the two river beaches which are only a few minutes away by car. Ingeborg and Ruben were very helpful and available whenever we had a question. We also appreciated the lovely breakfast they provided us with on our first day before we were able to get groceries from a supermarket. All in all, we felt at home and very welcomed and we didn’t want to leave. Thank you so much for a lovely week!

This place is a real gem! Everything was clean, beautiful and up to date. The views were absolutely stunning! Gois is also a beautiful small town with a pretty river and river beaches. A perfect place to rest during your vacation and see breathtaking scenery!

If you’re looking for a peaceful, welcoming spot to unwind, I highly recommend staying here! Elena and Scott are very kind and thoughtful hosts who made us feel right at home. The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything you need. On top of that the garden is also beautiful - full of charm, with plenty of cozy corners to sit and enjoy the sunshine and the view.

We loved staying at Celia’s place. She was a friendly and welcoming host, who provided a lovely apartment to wind down in. It was great to stay in a country location with a large patio overlooking the green hills, river and valley. Celia has decorated the apartment beautifully and had put colour coordinated flowers in each room. The restaurant/cafe/bar a few doors down was great too and the owners very friendly. I highly recommend staying here if you want some peace and quiet in Portugal.

This countryside getaway is a hidden gem. We loved the luxurious apartment and the view over the fields of the sheep, goats and donkeys. We also enjoyed exploring the Serra da Lousâ on foot and by mountain bike. Lots to do here and Tom is a really helpful host.

We had a beautiful time at Helen's place. The studio is huge and very light and airy. The apartment was spotless and the bed was super comfortable. The house is in an area of natural beauty with loads of hikes and river beaches nearby. We were just 5 minutes drive from the local town where we found some really nice little bars and also some fantastic authentic resteraunts. We had a wonderful time exploring the area and also enjoyed time relaxing by the pool and admiring the nature surrounding the house. A great place to watch the stars as there is so little light pollution. It is a great getaway for people who find romance in the tranquility and peace of nature. What really made our stay so magical was Helen's hosting. She greeted us with a smile and spoiled us with fresh produce from her garden. She let us know where to go in the area and simply took excellent care of us! We can't wait to return!
