Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

From the garden there are stairs to access a river beach, perfect for cooling off in the summer months! *Please note: we have a cat who lives here too.

Een prachtige accomodatie, direct aan de rivier waar je heerlijk kunt wandelen en in rust van de natuur kan genieten. Voor kinderen is er genoeg te doen zoals schommelen, skelteren, trampoline springen, kanoën en natuurlijk zwemmen! Op het terrein lopen 3 enthousiaste, vriendelijke honden, poezen en kippen. De oprit van het terrein is onverhard en hobbelig, maar prima te doen met een gewone auto.
