The Rózsafaház is a modernized alpine chalet on the Szabó Hill in Kőszeg, in the area of the Írottkő Nature Park, which can be reached by asphalt and forest roads. The house is surrounded by a forest garden, where the green area is well-kept, a garden barbecue clearing, and a playground are available. The building has a panoramic terrace with great views of Transdanubia and the Kőszeg Mountains. The house consists of a kitchen-dining-bedroom (with fireplace) and a bathroom with shower, and upstairs there is a sleeping gallery.

If you want to get away from the city and relax in peace on the edge of the forest, this cottage is the perfect choice. Listen to the birds chirping while you enjoy your morning coffee, laze in the hammock under the old chestnut tree, walk along the Mohás Spring on the Óház Lookout trail, and to round it off, pop into one of the nearby wineries or simply gaze at the starry sky from the garden. The main heating source for the house is a tiled stove, which we recommend primarily for those who enjoy using wood for heating.

The house has a living area of 130 m² and is suitable for 4 people. It is located in the cross-border National Park Neusiedler See/Hansag. It borders directly on the core zone of the national park. In the distance, the adjacent towns of Apetlon, Illmitz, Mörbiisch am See, Rust and Fertörakos. Directly in front of the property, which is more than 2000 m², you will find a fascinating animal world, where the gray cattle and water buffaloes graze directly in front of the property on which the house is located.

Caspar's Home

This modern cabin is located in the Semmering UNESCO world heritage area of Semmering. The first mountain railway in the world was built 1854 and is still in service. You have stunning views from the house, constantly you can observe the changing moods of nature and see how light is sculpting the rocks and ridges of the Atlitzgraben. One feels like being included in a painting of Caspar David Friedrich... There are plenty of possibilities for walking, skiing and mountain biking.
