Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Syracuse

We had a wonderful time with baby and dog. The house is great, with a beautiful terrace, lots of seating and fruit trees in the garden. It is in nature and we were all to ourselves. At the same time, the location is a very good starting point for beautiful excursions. We were received in a very hospitable, helpful and courteous manner.

I highly recommend this apartment in the heart of Ortigia, a stone's throw from the market and the island's main tourist attractions. The ancient theatre and archaeological area are a little further away, but still within walking distance. In the surrounding area, you can find popular restaurants of remarkable quality. The neighbourhood is entirely pedestrian, being an ancient Arab medina. The apartment is modern and functional, very cool and airy, with a large terrace without a vis-à-vis. Wi-Fi works perfectly, it is a very convenient base for exploring the city. The host is extremely responsive, reachable on WhatsApp and on the platform, for any urgent or non-urgent need.

Lovely, friendly hosts who are very helpful and do their best to accommodate your needs and made everything so easy. The property is great value for money. The property was clean and felt like a home away from home. The kitchen is great has everything you need to cook meals, washing machine room also next to the kitchen which is great. The property is 20 minutes drive from loads of great beaches. Lovely outdoor area to eat and relax. Would definitely recommend.

The place is exactly what we were looking for. Quietness and peacefulness surrounded by Sicilian olive trees. The pool was great, the facilities were spot on and the bathroom and bed very comfortable. Also, the airco worked and pool filter worked perfectly. Last but not least, the recommendations Emanuela gave us were outstanding!

Book with your eyes closed 👍We just spent 3 nights from 16 to 19 /10/2024, in Casa di Mauro , which totally matches the photos and descriptions. Ideally located near the temple of Apollo , we were quiet in this charming ultra clean, functional accommodation, equipped with everything that makes a place comfortable and above all tastefully decorated. The bedding is ultra comfortable . In addition , we enjoyed the warm welcome from our host, Maria . Thank you for his listening, his pro activity, his responsiveness and all his attention that brings the little more magical in the rental... water bottles and toilet products. Thank you also for his good tips and for the great places for lunch and dinner. All the ingredients were there to fully enjoy our stay in Syracuse in the heart of Ortigia and we felt in the accommodation very comfortable as home.…the experience delighted us and we will come back . The house is amazing. On 2 floors with 3 beds and 3 bathroom, new and clean. The architect and designer have done a terrific job. You also have a terrace with sunchairs, dining table and a bbq. Great location. 5-10 minutes walk from the main touristic road, overlooks a beautiful square and church, down you have two amazing cafes and one of the best restaurants in town (ristorante crocifisso). Great welcome from Silvia who provided flexibility on check-in and helped with a couple of bespoke requests. Family friendly - you can request cot and baby chair. Spaces work well for a family stay. Convenient, you can park your car just below the house, plenty of free parking underneath. The only things to note: - Steep stairs inside the house. You can close the doors if you have a baby. But if anyone has problems with mobility maybe not ideal - The church ring the bells a few times a day starting at 8am and ending at 8pm. Although the rooms are well shielded

Had an excellent weekend. Lovely food and very friendly people. Easy to get to from airport (by bus €6.20) short walk a few stairs some of which are very narrow in the studio. All very clean. The only slight problem were the sheets which didn’t stay on the bed. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

What a fantastic bnb in a great location Super sunny & bright. Spacious. Lovely view over the beach & water. Very comfortable. Solid A/C. & 1k to one of the best restaurants ever, Manna! Don’t miss this amazing dinner spot! Good deli & fruit stand near the other end of pier. Livia very helpful & responsive host. I’d come here again for sure!

We had a lovely week in this charming property. The location is uniquely peaceful and unlike anywhere else we have stayed. The house is traditional in style and the pool was fantastic. Our 2 children loved roaming around the orchard and adored feeding the animals and collecting eggs from the hens. Gioacchino is a great host and very welcoming, he was on hand for any assistance but also very discreet at maintaining the large grounds whilst respecting guests privacy. We loved hearing all about the fruit and vegetables produced at the property. The shop just up the road is well stocked and has good quality items. A wonderful place to stay in this area of Sicily, we hope to return!

Silvia was an excellent host, always responsive and very helpful. We were able to find the villa with her instructions and she was there to greet us and say goodbye when we left. The villa was spotless and we loved the outdoor space with all its different seating areas and bbq. The house was well equipped with thoughtful touches. There were lots of little extras for our stay including clean towels, jams, treats and Prosecco. A great base for exploring Sicily’s south east. Highly recommend this stay.

Very nice and huge villa in a countryside with complete privacy, a large garden (3 cats at disposal) and perfectly looking swimming pool. Well-equipped kitchen, two big bedrooms and a modern bathroom. Every room has air conditioner that can be used also for heating during cold days. Communication with Antonino was perfect, he helped us several times and was always in touch. Approximately 20 minutes from Syracusa and 45 minutes from Catania airport by car, flexible check-in and checkout possible

We had a wonderful few days at Sofia’s. The pool and surrounding area were perfect for relaxing, with plenty of seating spots to unwind. We really appreciated the outdoor space which offered a great area to eat and chill. The grounds were lovely, and we enjoyed the company of the cute & friendly dogs. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Sofia was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great local recommendations. Sofia’s is just a 10-minute walk to a nearby beach and a short 5-minute drive to other beaches and supermarkets. We would definitely recommend!

A lovely, contemporary, comfortable home with great showers and comfortable beds. Our only issue was the distance from Noto, on a challenging road, which was much further than expected. Carlo and Stella went out of their way to respond to our needs.

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at Alessandro’s house with the beautiful garden and amazing views… our 4year old son loved the pool, the playground and- after some time- the big dog ;-) we would love to come back to this great host

Must stay if you get the chance. Luca was extremely friendly and responsive - he created a chat group before check-in to help us manage the process. He also had a list of recommendations, which we used to guide our first night in the area! House is peaceful and tidy - all amenities were there as indicated. We had no problem finding it (recommend adding the location earlier as there is limited 4g in the area). Highly recommend.

We had a great time as a family at the place. Beautifully located for excursions and in doubt is Noto, as a beautiful little town right around the corner. However, you should have a car to enjoy the place.

This was my favorite place I stayed in Sicily. It's a short walk from some of the busier parts of Ortigia, but it was so quiet, even in the courtyard. There are regular shops in the neighborhood and the kitchen is well laid out and we were able to make a small dinner our first night and take it easy. It might be hard to tell from the pictures, but the courtyard really is private and open to the sky, a delightful place for morning coffee, and afternoon read, or a quiet nightcap. Our seven-year-old loved his sofa bed and watching TV to decompress after a long day of travel and seeing the sites. I can't say enough good things about Rita, who takes care of the apartment. She was helpful and engaging. We asked a bunch of questions about our arrival and her answers were timely and reassuring. She gave us clear instructions on how to get from the bus terminal to the apartment and gave us a warm welcome which set a pleasant tone for our trip.

We had a great stay. The accommodations were perfect and the area was walkable. Viviana’s recommendations of where to eat/shop/go to the beach were very helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

The apartment offers an incredibly beautiful view and the best sunset view. However, you should be aware that the apartment is located directly on the promenade with many restaurants and it is a bit noisy - especially on Fridays and Saturdays. Alberto is super friendly and has always accommodated us. The amenities are great.

We loved our stay at Giuseppe’s place. It was super cute and clean. The location was fantastic and so was the terrace. Would definitely stay again!

We had such a lovely stay at Casi in Noto. The apartment was beautiful and had everything you need for exploring Noto and the surrounding area of Sicily. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars for an aperitivo locally and in other parts of the region. Finding parking was easy but can imagine it would be harder in a more peak period. I will be recommending Casi to my friends and family as a must if staying in Sicily. Grazie mille, Francesco and Marilena.

We had eight really wonderful days in the apartment! We can only recommend staying there and would love to come again! It's just like you can see in the photos. The rooftop terrace is completely private, and it's really lovely and a great luxury. The apartment is well decorated and has everything you need. And a big luxury to have a view of the water from the bath. The host was easy to communicate with and flexible. You have to be able to walk stairs to stay in the apartment. The location was also nice. Ortigia, 5 - 7 minutes down there. We arrived by train and the apartment is two-three minutes from the station, which was just perfect. We ate ice cream every day at a small local ice cream place located 200 meters from the apartment; Viola Gelateria.

We had a fantastic stay at the apartment. The welcome pack included coffe, tea, biscuits and a much appreciated bottle of prosecco. The two bedrooms face an internal courtyard and are very quiet. Very bright and airy rooms with a very well equipped kitchen and lovely views from the two balconies overlooking the street. Responses from the owner were very quick and included directing us to a great boat trip around the island and where to park. Overall absolutely wonderful.

Valentina was the most amazing host I've ever had! She texted back quickly, was flexible with check-in time and helped me with check-out. She is super cute, offered a city map and things I should go and do. She really made my holidays more relaxed. The apartment is without flaws. Superb location, everything clean, comfortable bed, really spacious and quiet.
