Casa Valeggia is located in a quiet residential area. The house has many windows and sun in charming position above the village of Maggia overlooking the waterfall of the Valle del Salto, nestled in a tropical garden, fully fenced and with a small swimming pool. Close to the house there is the possibility to swim in the river or at the waterfall. Recommended for people seeking tranquility, hikers and in search for privacy and contact with nature. Breath the fresh air from the valley.

Charming farmhouse with mountain views

This charming accommodation in a former farmhouse awaits guests who are looking for a unique holiday experience. A steep footpath leads from the village to the house in around 8 minutes. Access by car is not possible in winter. If it snows, you can take a sleigh or skis from the village directly to the house. This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

We built this little house for ourselves with love. It is close to our home, but it has an unobstructed view and preserves your privacy. You will feel right at home. We dream while looking at the view, the sun's path, on one of the terraces or by the fireplace. To disconnect, discover the Gruyère, isolate yourself for teleworking, escape as a couple... The hardest part is leaving. In JULY and AUGUST, rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. 😊

It has a bedroom with a double bed, TV, a bedroom with a French sofa bed and fireplace, TV. A private bathroom with a bathtub and a kitchen with essential facilities for cooking and eating meals. Outdoors there are sun loungers, a dining area and a barbecue area.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. Sleeping in the greenhouse means being very close to the plants. A good bed awaits you and a warm stove lets you comfortably enjoy the time you spend with us. The house in the greenhouse is very well insulated and has a nice large wood-burning stove and a small electric stove. The walls are open with many windows. For privacy, it has thick curtains everywhere.
