Cabin holiday rentals in Sweet Home

This cabin home right along the river was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The weather was perfect so we enjoyed a lot of time outside on the deck, patio, hot tub and loved the fire pit in the evenings. The house was immaculate and there were two large master suites. The large amount of windows were fantastic for the river and mountain views. And another fun touch were the multiple families of Canadian geese that walked through the yards all day long. I would recommend this home for anyone looking for space, enjoys views and peace. Also a nice drive to the Willamette Valley for wine tasting!

We had a great stay at Chris’s cabin. The property is nice and was a great place for our dogs to run around. Kitchen is well stocked. I visited the area 15 years ago and loved and didn’t know about the fire a few years ago so it was sad to see how much the area changed, but it was still beautiful.

Christine’s place was just what I’d hoped for and more. Quiet, peaceful setting with great outdoor spaces. The back deck was wonderful and, even though we didn’t build a fire, there was a great fire pit with chairs around. Comfortable beds and the inside space was like home.

This is our second time staying with Mark and Andi. Our prior experience with them & the home is 100% why we came back. Mark and Andi are terrific, responsive hosts who are incredibly helpful and easy to work with. The house is clean, well laid out, and has all the amenities we needed. I was a little concerned that we would have an issue with five adults and one bathroom and honestly, we had no issues at all. We had another absolutely lovely stay. The quiet, the fantastic view, deer wandering through the yard, all exactly what the doctor ordered.

This cabin is so much more than we expected! The location was beautiful, and so peaceful. The cabin had everything we needed but the screened in porch was our favorite place to sit, listen to the river, relax and just enjoy each other’s company. There are several restaurants not far from the cabin too in case you don’t feel like cooking. We enjoyed several hikes nearby and lots of places to explore. Michael has the best communication of any Airbnb host I’ve encountered thus far. A truly magical getaway for my daughters and I.

Amazing place to stay! The cabin was nicely decorated, cozy, and very clean! There was an informational binder that Peter had put together telling guests about local spots to eat, swimming holes to go to, and about the history of the cabin. The neighborhood was super cute and calm which was a plus! Peter was very welcoming and communicative. I would highly recommend staying here!

My husband and I enjoyed our getaway to the Tired Dog Ranch and our stay at the Carriage "Hen" House. It was a lovely area, quiet and peaceful. The little place was rustic but had everything we needed. Its was nice to walk around the grounds and visit with the horses. We werent lucky enough to meet any of the other animals and the chickens were no longer around. The place was comfortable, nice big bed, and plenty of heating/cooling, and while rustic it was clean. The only issue we had was the showerhead was very short and my husband being 6'3" had a difficult time in the space. Also since there isnt a bathroom sink (this is clearly explained in the description so it wasnt a surprise) it was a bit uncomfortable to wash up in the evening as there arent curtains over the windows and there were a couple folks walking around. Other than those two things, which werent a huge deal to deal with, it was a wonderful time. The area is beautiful and we look forward to visiting again someday :)

Beautiful cabin right on the water. Everything was clean and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with anything you might need. I thought it was better than the pictures online. Friendly and flexible host. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect for a nice relaxing weekend with beautiful scenery.

We felt like true guests at Mark's place. The carriage house was as described, spotless, and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The area was super peaceful and quiet. Communication was reliable and friendly. Thank you!

What an amazing farm/cabin stay our little family had here! We celebrated my husbands Birthday and Father’s Day ☺️ The outdoor toilet was the cleanest one Ive ever used! And the cabin itself was very peaceful and clean! The kids loved seeing the sheep eat at night and the ducks by the pond. Jim was as sweet as can be and let us unload our car and kiddos out before welcoming us which we really appreciated and telling us all of the information we needed! He is such a great host and it’s mind blowing how he keeps this farm so perfect! We will coming back again very soon ☺️

We had a great adventure at this charming historic cabin in the rainforest! The setting was so beautiful by the river and being able to go for a hike just down the road was a big plus! Our only complaint would be it was quite cold at night during our trip, especially with a 3 year old. We rely on woodstove at home, so we weren't too worried about it and the owner did send extra info on it, but the wood stove was slow to warm so we just slept on the couches around the stove. Until, I added wood at midnight and smoked us out, as the pipe had gotten too cold and the wood was a bit damp. So we had to leave the flue open from then on (after opening all the doors, fan etc) which is just what happens with wood stoves sometimes. We were quite tired from our long drive though, and it made for a long, cold night. It was a memorable experience that we will chuckle about though. A big plus was the couches were really comfy! If it we could have used the heaters, it would have been a 10/10 stay!

Our family came out for a long weekend and loved the stay! Quiet and secluded, yet easy lake access. Felt like we were a world away when at the cabin, which was perfectly sized for the four of us. It was a wonderful escape and we would love to visit again!

What a place! The best part of the stay was being in such a serene setting. The cabin did the job. The outdoor showers overlooking the river were amazing, and we enjoyed the sauna too. As others mentioned, our cell provider doesn't cover the area, and we could only get wifi from Steve's home if we held the phone in particular spots (or walked 50 feet toward his house). This was actually a big plus, as it helped everyone in our group set down the phones, unplug, and be present in nature. Loved it!

This is a beautifully designed and decorated cabin on the McKenzie River that is a short drive to two nice local restaurants on the river. There are so many activities such as hiking, mountain biking, hot springs etc nearby, but honestly - we never left the cabin for three days. We relaxed on the patio overlooking the river, made some nice meals in the incredibly well stocked kitchen, made a wood fire in the living room, sat outside around the solo stove with a roaring fire and enjoyed some quiet downtime. Highly recommend!

We had a really comfortable stay at Amy’s cabin in Springfield. It’s conveniently located close to downtown, with plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby. The cabin had everything we needed, along with thoughtful touches like flashlights on the nightstands and nightlights throughout. It was very clean, and parking was easy. The fenced outdoor space was perfect for our dogs, and the bed was very comfortable. While the train does pass by occasionally, it didn’t bother us—we slept well and felt rested for the next leg of our trip. Amy was quick to respond to any questions. Thank you, Amy, for a lovely stay!
