The cabin is idyllically located with panoramic views of the beautiful village of Førde, the fjord and even much further. Although the cabin is located on top of a hill, it is located on a farm, where sheep and lambs graze nearby. The cabin has a distinctive character, is more than 100 years old and has, among other things, a large, carved Viking ship model hanging from the ceiling. The entire cabin was restored a few years ago and then got modern equipment such as a new bathroom with heating cables and a new kitchen with all the necessary equipment.

Enjoy birdsong among the oak trees on the property, and feel your heart rate slow down, for young and old. Here you can experience the Knausen cabin, which was built in 1940 and has retained most of its original character. Here the beds are built into the rooms, there is no Wi-Fi and dishes must be washed by hand. However, the location can bring peace of mind with beautiful lake views of Ålfjorden, a large property with a lot of natural land, access to the beach, fishing and a short distance to Ølen, Etne, Odda/Trolltunga, Haugesund and Karmøy.

A perfect place to stop off when travelling the west coast of Norway. It has one bedroom with a double bed that can be split into 2 twin beds and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The living room extends into a well equipped kitchen and on to the infra red sauna and bathroom. Nearby are swimming spots, tennis & paddle courts, hiking trails and more.

Only 6 km from Sveio Golf Park, one of the country's most beautiful golf courses. The place is also close to parts of the trail network of the North Sea Trail. From Mølstrevåg (2.5 km) the hiking trail to Ryvarden Kulturfyr starts. If you cycle the North Sea Road between Stavanger and Bergen, you will pass our house.
