OPEN 20 March 2026 This is [B&B Morino Akari], a quiet old kominka-style inn nestled in the mountains of Nara and Yoshino, surrounded by greenery, and limited to one group per day. (The name means "Light of the Forest") ⚫︎ During your stay, breakfast and dinner prepared by the owner are included (please refer to the photos) ⚫︎ We can also provide meals for pescatarians and vegetarians. The kitchen area is shared with Hotos. The rest is all for your exclusive use, and you can spend your time freely as if you were renting the entire building. The spacious area of approximately 230 m² can accommodate up to 8 people. It is ideal for family or group trips. There is also good access to Yoshinoyama, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, and the World Heritage Site, Konpōzanji Temple. We have preserved the historic beams and tiled roofs while preparing the space for you to have a comfortable stay. The tranquillity of the mountains and the soft light that illuminates the night. Here, you can forget about everyday life. Because of the natural surroundings, we recommend that you come by car. This is a traditional Japanese house built in the countryside of Iga, the home of the ninja. Although you can come by public transportation, it is more convenient to come by car as it is quite a rural area. The hot spring is 5 minutes by car. It takes 20 minutes by car to the castle town of Iga Ueno. 25 minutes to Mokumoku Farm. 30 minutes to Igayaki no Sato. 45 minutes to Suzuka Circuit. 50 minutes to Akame Shijuhachi Falls National Park. 1 hour to Ise Jingu. 1 hour to Horyuji Temple.

The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.

This guesthouse is a renovated 120-year-old traditional Japanese house located in the merchant town of Omi Hino, overlooking Mt. Watamuki in the Suzuka Mountains of Shiga Prefecture, with the concept of "nostalgic yet new." The townscape of Hino itself is somehow nostalgic and calming. "Watamukiyama Village" was born in a corner of this town in 2019. Accommodation is limited to one group at a time, and the accommodation fee starts from the rate for two people.
