Castle Town Machiya Private Guest House DAIJI Consecutive night discount
I have lived in Iga Ueno for a few years. Growing up in a residential area, living in a castle town was a new experience for me. This land with its old-fashioned townscape and famous water is hot in summer and cold in winter. But that's why the rice, vegetables, and meat are also delicious. There are many areas where nature remains, but few areas where the old townscape remains intact. I want to preserve this townscape. To that end, I want many people to experience a nostalgic way of life and culture. As such a place, we renovated a row house left by our ancestors and opened it as the Daiji, a soy sauce shop that had closed. You are always welcome! Stay in a beautifully renovated traditional Japanese wooden house with tatami flooring and futons, plus modern facilities for self-catering, within easy reach of Kyoto and Osaka airports. Just a step away from the inn, the road with the atmosphere of the Edo period runs east and west, and it is a valuable post town with few tourists and locals still living there, so it is recommended for a relaxing trip. Foreigners who come to Osaka and Kansai Expo are also welcome. There are many historic buildings where you can feel the history of Japan. In addition, there is a food supermarket, convenience store, and restaurant within a 2-minute walk, which is very convenient. < Time from the inn to each facility > Suzuka Circuit 30 minutes Nagashima Spa Land: 35 minutes Iga-ryu Ninja Museum 30 minutes Kaga no Sato Ninja Village 30 minutes Nabana no Sato 40 minutes Saorina 20 minutes Golf course 5 minutes Kansai and Osaka Expo Venues: 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 10 minutes
