Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Susquehanna River

We stayed at Oak View during the first week of June 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience. The home is beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. We spent most days relaxing on the deck, enjoying the peaceful surroundings—and even sneaking in a few naps. It was the perfect escape for a restful weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely place with lake views. 100% happy with this choice vs other offerings in the area. House is set on a hill so you are viewing the lake from a higher spot than if you were literally on the lake. Very majestic. There are binoculars on the window sill to check out boats/things going on. I enjoyed the decor/sense of style the host has. Lots of interesting books, art, turntable, board games, cards, etc. The gardens, koi pond are well maintained. Rooms and bath upstairs do have lower ceiling but this info is disclosed in the ad. It didn’t detract from the experience. Went hiking but we were not avid hikers so learning to read the trail markers was new for us. The town is very small but we found nice spots to eat/visit nearby. We did use kitchen and coffee maker. Appliances are very new. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Cool hairdryer. Host def. appreciates design. Thank you for letting us stay a few extra hours past check out. Wonderful time! Felt like I really got away from the stress.

This is probably one of the nicest Airbnb’s in the Pocono mountains! Dawn is an excellent host and is very communicative! Check in was a breeze, the house was cozy and the views from the deck was just stunning! We loved our stay here and hope to come back again!

My girlfriend and I stayed in Jonathan’s home for our Valentine’s Day weekend. The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. Jonathan checked in on us to see if we had everything we needed and recommend local restaurants and places to visit he even gave us the time we should wake up to enjoy the sunrise which we did. All in all the trip was a 10/10 and we can’t wait to return!

It is a five (5) star hotel with fully equipped home away home Airbnb! We’ve been to different Airbnb’s around the world, experience at this beautiful Bridge Covered Cottage is one of our bests! We’ve enjoyed every minute of the staying/visiting in Lancaster PA. We appreciate your thoughtful hospitality. Danielle was a wonderful host, very fast with responses and made us feel very welcome in her lovely home. The house is very spacious, and beautiful and was very accommodating to our group. The house comes with a paddle boat and kayak and we had lots of fun taking them out to the pond in the backyard. We really loved our stay and would love to come back and stay here again!

We stayed here for a micro-honeymoon the night after our wedding. We mostly just wanted some time with each other and to relax and recover. David's place was perfect. The fancy bathroom was exactly what we needed, and the kitchen was well equipped for me to cook dinner for my wife. It felt like some actual love and thought was put into making the space nice.

From the moment we arrived we were impressed with how you took the old house and, keeping the integrity of the place, updated and turned it into a wonderful place to stay. If any of the four of us need to go that way again, we would look forward to returning to your home. One little thing we learned, four people taking showers using both bathrooms and one right after the other, we ran out of hot water. We realized we should have waited a bit for the last two to take their showers but after hiking, we just wanted to get clean! Maybe a little note to that effect would be helpful. Not a big deal, but the girls just rinsed and jumped out of our respective showers very quickly! All in all, a great place to hang out and lay our heads for the night. I had an amazing stay at Adam's Place. The Airbnb was absolutely beautiful and in pristine condition. It honestly had a warm & home-like feeling. Watching the sunset from the balcony was soul soothing!. Adam was the perfect host. Always attentive, communicative and very informative. I would absolutely love to stay at Adam's Airbnb again the next time I'm in Harrisburg. I would highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!

We absolutely loved our stay in Emily's place. It was even better in person than the photos. Emily was communicative and proactive- she thought of everything we needed ahead of time! My daughter loved the hot tub, fire pit, and smores kit!

I enjoyed my stay here. Lisa was very nice and very responsive if you ever needed anything. Everything looked the same as in the pictures, very cozy place to stay.

This was my second stay here- just as peaceful, clean and comfortable as the first! Spacious “in-law” quarters with all the necessities and a nice touch of extras like a stocked coffee station with Keurig brewer, countertop convection/air fryer oven, and electric fireplace. The apartment’s cleanliness and neatness is a standout. Great communicaton from the host as well.

Great location. Nice neighborhood. Unit offers everything you need. Upgraded very cool bathroom. Large bed. Easy walking to downtown area. Nice balcony to sit outside. Included a parking spot. We liked the unit and would stay again.

One of the best AirBnbs I’ve stayed at. Peaceful, cozy. Felt like a little “nest” up on the top floor of the building. Everything you need to have a home away from home. Esther was incredibly responsive and gracious. 10/10 recommend!

This place is awesome and we can’t wait to return. Everything was very clean, and it was private and so relaxing. The owners were very responsive and provided everything and even surprised us with fresh eggs. The chickens were such fun to watch from the patio, and Izzy their dog was so friendly. The owners are wonderful people and they were very attentive. We can’t wait to return.

Our stay was amazing at the villa vino the view is great! You are located in a peaceful area but also close enough to be able to drive right down the road to town, wineries, or the lake. The driveway was large enough for cars. The hot tub and pool were very well kept. Nice lounge chairs and furniture inside. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. We would stay here again for sure. Everything you need and close to the lake! Best of both worlds!

Great house with amazing views! Very convenient to many wineries and breweries ! We had a great week with our family celebrating our 40th anniversary!

This was an absolute dream of a property. They have thought of absolutely everything to make you not have to leave to enjoy your time. There were endless amounts of things for our kids and family to do in the home and on the property’s lake front. This truly felt like a peaceful relaxing vacation which is just what we needed. We would have driven double the distance (already almost 3 hours away from us) because we loved being there so much. We cannot wait to come back now that we’ve found a little peace of heaven here. My girlfriends and I absolutely loved our girls trip at Natalia’s in Princeton!! She has a beautiful, spacious home, well-furnished and had plenty of bathroom space for the 5 of us. I was so pleasantly surprised by how quiet and peaceful the area was. The backyard is large and scenic with trees and shrubbery that make the space feel quite private. The large windows in the foyer and back sliding doors also let in such beautiful natural light. Natalia was an awesome host, checking in proactively and always anticipating our needs. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This place is incredible. There are so many places for small group conversations and hangout time. It felt like being in two houses. Bedrooms are lovely and varied, kitchen is well stocked. Lighting is soft and plentiful, with lots of natural light during the day. We loved spending time around the fireplace and out on the deck. Thank you for creating such a wonderful property!!

This is our second time staying here and we would love to come back again!! The pool table is in great condition, the hot tub was great and the outdoor space was so relaxing. The hosts are super friendly and we loved everything about the property. Highly recommended
