Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Susquehanna River

Exactly what I was looking for. complete peace and quiet. Such a peaceful setting yet close to a bunch of options. The space was Exactly as described and more. every detail was exceptional quality. softest sheets ever. I loved my short stay here and look forward to next time !!

Such a perfect getaway spot. The house was super clean and felt like home. We took advantage of the fire pit and the grill, the hot tub was a great addition! Definitely will be coming back!

My husband and I needed some time to re-bond and boy did this place and Tom & Carol deliver. The best airbnb we've ever stayed in, very romantic, beautiful, and inspiring. They put so much love and detail into the place, it went above and beyond in terms of amenities (they had everything we needed plus so much more). I had brought a lasagna that was too big to heat in their airfryer, so they offered to put it in their oven to heat up - which was lovely of them. Honestly this place and the hosts exceeded our expectations in every way. Tom & Carol gave us a personal tour of their beautiful property, gallery and house and all of Tom's artwork - which is everywhere. Tom is so talented and answered our many, many questions. They were super welcoming to my dog as well, and our dogs even played together! My only complaint w/tongue in cheek: Tom doesn't sell his work any longer as he's building a sculpture garden and museum - I get that, but it was hard to not buy some of his incredible work.

Marsha and John’s cozy cottage is a magical oasis that was one of the best stays We’ve ever had. The hospitality we received felt like a family member who loves you and wants you to have the time of your life, and we did! Marsha has any whim you could possibly imagine covered and then some! The grounds and gardens were so beautiful with a lot of options to enjoy like a fire pit (with every need covered), bird baths/houses for bird watching and covered seating even in the rain. The cottage is immaculately clean and full of detail and charm. The spa area is completely stocked with luxury soaps, hair care products, and any type of towel you could ever want. I am so grateful to Marsha and John and made so many memories during our stay! This is a GEM!

The home was absolutely beautiful and super relaxing. It was in every way it was described and did not disappoint. The community was beautiful and makes you feel safe. My sister and I had an amazing time. We had so many plans to do outdoor activities and it rained all weekend but this house was perfect for a much needed staying in weekend. Perfect home and perfect weekend!

Danielle was a wonderful host, very fast with responses and made us feel very welcome in her lovely home. The house is very spacious, and beautiful and was very accommodating to our group. The house comes with a paddle boat and kayak and we had lots of fun taking them out to the pond in the backyard. We really loved our stay and would love to come back and stay here again!

This was a amazing stay, unfortunately the weather didn't let us use the dome. But there was so much more to see and do. This is the perfect hideway.

What a beautiful peaceful location. We had to drive everywhere we went but that was our intent. Everything we needed was provided, the apartment was spotless, and we had plenty of space for our belongings. We’ll definitely book this place again!

Ami’s place was great! Stayed for my birthday and was surprised with a delicious tres leche cake upon my arrival! The view was incredible, amenities were amazing, overall it was everything I hoped for and more. Thanks Ami!

We have stayed in one of Matt’s airbnbs before and same as the first time, we had a wonderful stay! The Airbnb is beautiful, private, and exactly as described. It was easy to find and Matt gave us specific instructions for everything. He puts thoughtful touches into everything like the bathroom amenities, kitchen amenities, and extra blankets and board games. The bed was comfortable and the private deck was wonderful to sit out on in the morning. The surrounding area is nice and quiet and peaceful. Love this place and will absolutely be back! :)

Definitely a space with great level of thoughts and details makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Surrounded by the nature, you can immerse yourself in the beautiful mountain view and bird chirps, very peaceful and tranquil. We saw deers walking by, rabbit hiding in bush from raining, and a little chipmunk busy around the house all the time. Thanks Katey for sharing her beautiful home and being a great host, super responsive and provides lots of useful information. We had an amazing time!

Cynthia's place was exactly as depicted. Proactive communication. Great parking. Well lit outside. Very clean, organized, with many personal amenities, etc.... Only an overnight for us, however, definitely a peaceful and well cared for place to book for several nights. The personal touches show the appreciation Cynthia has for her guests. Serenity, a word that comes to mind. However, surrounded by tons of Pocono activities. Will definitely book again when in the area. George

What a beautiful place to stay in the Hudson Valley. The view from the property is just breathtaking. Dan’s place is very clean, open and beautifully furnished. We can’t wait to come back!

Very convenient location close by to everything we needed! We did have an issue with something in our unit, but Aaron communicated very quickly and was able to let us use the other available unit for the night. Both Air bnbs at the property were very well stocked and spotless. Felt very much at home here!

We had a great stay at David's cabin. We really enjoyed the beautiful back yard and spending time on the deck. Would love to visit again.

Amazing plaice. If you are looking for a place fulfilled with serenity, joy and nature, this is a place to go. The house made with love, clean and big. The creek and sounds of water with the fire pit meditative. The hot jacuzzi on the creek is relaxing and fun. The owners are nice people, very orginized and quickly responding to any conserns you migjt have. Walks on the nature is available. We will be back!!! Thank you James and Erene!!

This was my third time booking this enchanting Norway Chalet. It became almost my home away from home. Close to Jersey, close to trailheads, private, quiet and a ton of amenities. The host is very responsive and goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed. I highly recommend it.

This was the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever rented. Nothing was broken or missing from the amenities list. Absolutely beautiful home. Inae even left us smores ingredients which was so sweet! Of all the places I’ve rented, I actually would want to rent this home again. Thank you so much!

Such an awesome spot! BUT note this is a glampsite rather than a full house. The toilet is an outhouse (very clean, but make sure to duck to not hit your head), the shower is heated but it's outdoor, I didn't have soap or towels provided that I saw, and the bed is a tri-fold mattress that folds out onto the floor of the little A-frame. The wood fire hot tub was amazing, the fire pit is nice, there are two chairs included, parking is easy, there is good quality firewood here but bring something to light it with and start the burn. The sound of the running water is worth every penny. The cabin also is heated via some sort of gas, which does a great job and making the space feel cozy but I woke up with a pretty good sore throat. Not sure if that is a coincidence or if from the heater. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Just make sure the less earthy people in your group are not expecting a hotel room/house.

LOVED LOVED Loved this airbnb. Being able to unplug from cell phone service made the world of difference to our stay. Waking up to the sounds of the creek's flowing water and just being around nature was spot on. The kitchen is fully equipped with a great selection of kitchenware and condiments. Jeni our host was friendly, responsive and and super helpful. Definitely returning!

We greatly enjoyed our stay in the cabin - modern amenities in a peaceful hillside setting. We were especially touched because we had inquired about local dining options for our children's dietary restrictions and the hosts left us snacks meeting those restrictions. Cabin was clean and welcoming. The beds were comfortable, and the upstairs loft has a creative solution for the beds that the kids did not feel as though they were bunkmates, even though they were sleeping in the same room. There were a variety of streaming options available on the two large TVs, and we had no issues finding the appropriate pots, pans or utensils when we made dinner for ourselves. We will long remember our family's two nights spent around fires - one night when it was too wet to make a proper fire outside was spent around the propane fire table, and the night around the fire pit making smores.
