Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Surry County

This place was great for our golf trip to Williamsburg! This was our second time renting it.

Very nice house. Our favorite part was the playroom. We have three kids 5 and under and they had a blast. Everything was clean and comfortable. The check-in and check-out process was easy and smooth. Before arrival, I was little worried about the stairs and my one year old. But when we got there, there was a door at the top of the stairs. We could close the door and then baby could roam around freely without any danger of falling down the stairs. Yay! A place where you don't have to hover over your little ones and baby proof left and right is always a win for mom! Overall, it was a great stay.

Anne was wonderful! Accommodating and very responsive. The property was beautiful and very well stocked. We did not want for a thing! Anne has thought of everything anyone may need. We would definitely stay here again!! Shirley

Very comfortable and well-priced home, very easy to find, check in and felt a good location for the sights in DC - even without a car you can get a tram or bus into the centre, and the Metro was not too far a walk away either. The neighbourhood felt fine and safe. Parking situation was fine - it's only 2 hours during weekdays right outside but there's free parking with no time limit just a street away (2 min walk). Would recommend as somewhere to stay for a trip to DC.

The Hideaway Oasis was a great find, clean, well-stocked and Katie’s hospitality was top notch! Between the flexibility with our check-in and the personalized special surprises for the kids and dogs, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer host. Katie went out of her way to welcome us… sooo appreciated after a busy day of packing and dealing with movers. Fun game room, relaxing outdoor area… we loved listening to the birds singing while enjoying our morning coffee. This is THE place to stay when visiting Fort Greg-Adams! Thank you, Katie!

Ryan's place is conveniently located - 10 mins to Colonial Williamsburg, perfect for our family's visit to the city. The house itself is in a quiet neighbourhood. It is spacious, clean, and well-equipped for visitors who'd like to cook inside. We highly recommend Ryan's place for visitors who would like alternative options other than hotels and resorts in the area.

This house and property is really special. It is a beautifully maintained and renovated old house, and has great views of the woods and the creek. We enjoyed evenings on the beautiful porch taking in the views. The house itself was well appointed and clean, with minimal/essential furnishings. A few other reviews did mention the noise from the highway and it is true—though it did not disturb us except for in the night, when an occasional loud truck might pass. It was a great base for my family and two small dogs to explore the local sights. Would definitely consider staying here again.

E’s place was great for our long weekend getaway. The neighborhood is very quiet and is great to walk around. I have a dog so the place was great for her. Overall, a great place.

Loved staying here, though there wasn't much to do around it is within a 30 minute drive to Williamsburg! Enjoyed the peaceful setting as it was great for our dog! The wifi didn't work well but was nice to be disconnected a bit, would recommend staying here for a quite time!

The house was a good place to stay, better than being in a hotel and off the beaten path. The location was convenient for us to be with family and events, and to accommodate airport runs. We needed a house with 4 bedrooms and enough beds, which this provided. It was just a little higher priced I think compared to the quality, which included being just above sparsely furnished and decorated. The one other tradeoff was allowing pets without an additional fee, which we appreciate because we always make sure we take extra care when we bring ours. You can swim at the marina pool and I believe rent/use bicycles, but we did not take advantage of that. All in all, a generally comfortable place to stay.

I had a great time at this location! Very cozy, very accessible, communication with host was a little rough at first but he came the same day I communicated a few issues and everything was resolved! Overall, I would stay again and would definitely recommend.

We had a great family visit at this house. We really enjoyed the pool and whole house was very comfortable and clean! It was nice to just hang all day by the pool or top for a sanctuary from a long day of events. Sabrina was very attentive and responsive with questions and situations, appreciate her flexibility as a host!

Davina was very attentive and was always checking in to make sure things were going well. She quickly responded to messages and was very helpful.

I enjoyed my stay at this Airbnb. Host was amazing and made my stay there very smooth. Everything was SUPER clean when I arrived. Lots to do and great restaurants to eat at in the area. HIGHLY recommend this peaceful / beautiful townhome to stay at while in Suffolk, VA!

I needed a pet friendly place to stay to attend a local graduation and this was the perfect place. I didn’t get to enjoy the amenities at the campground, but saw them and it looked like the pictures. Had a nice, quiet stay.

Great accomodations for a big group. The house is huge and super interesting. While on the patio we watched the horses frolick, and were visited by a shy little dachshund, and a not-so-shy little farm cat. Beds were comfy. Lots of amenities like coffee pots, plenty of seating, a theater room, big Jacuzzi tub, and lots of bedrooms. Overall an extremely peaceful visit that I would stay at again.

We had a fantastic stay!! I was here overnight with 7 ladies for a retreat, and it was the perfect respite from city life. The cabin was so clean and cozy, and perfect for a gathering away from the city with friends. Keisha was super responsive and when I asked her about a firepit, she literally got one together before our stay! The outdoor area is so lovely, with chairs around the firepit, a swing, and games and more. Unfortunately it rained like crazy the night we arrived so we couldn't even use it, but we will have to come back. Highly recommend.

Crystal's condo was spotless and an easy place to stay. Crystal was very proactive and made us feel welcome. her dinner suggestions were superb too! perfect for a weekend getaway in a resort atmosphere. Thank you so much, we highly recommend!

Gayle’s place was a great location to stay at with our dog!!! Great neighborhood to walk him in and the marina/beach is an added bonus! Gayle was very communicative and check in was easy. The space of the condo was great for a family and large dog! We will definitely be staying again!

We stayed at this AirBnB during the weekend of our son’s graduation. It’s only 10 minutes away from campus but it seemed like a different world as it was almost rural! The house is extremely quiet and has a lovely large backyard. There is ample parking. Every thing is well labeled and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils and crockery.

We totally enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for a small weekend get away and very close to the ferry to hop over to the city.

Cute, spacious, super close to everything Williamsburg has to offer but still a private and quiet spot. A gem!

We stayed here for a weekend to go to Busch Gardens (8 of us) and because it was pet friendly. It worked out really well for us and having to take the ferry was an adventure in itself since we never took one before. It was actually pretty simple! Also, the Mexican restaurant that is nearby was delicious! However, if you need groceries you will want to get items before arriving as the closest market is pretty small and doesn't have a big selection. The host provided lots of info on the area and clear instructions on check in and check out. It was cheaper to stay here than to get 2 hotel rooms for 2 nights. It was also comfortable for us. We would stay here again if we return to the area.

Can highly recommend Crystal's condo. She was great to work with, very responsive and her condo had everything we could have needed. Our stayed played out exactly as we'd hoped. Would gladly stay here again if our travels take us back to the Williamsburg/Newport News area.
