Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Suroccidente

An excellent apartment for my stay in Barranquilla. The unit is on a quiet street but nearby are busier streets with coffee shops, restaurants, gyms, and markets. The unit was clean and well prepared, the front desk attendant was welcoming and responsive, and all of the amenities were available. I am a frequent traveler to Colombia and this is my third trip in six months. It seems common for Airbnbs here to not usually supply soap and shampoo for the bath, so be sure to bring your own. Parking was available but I didn’t need it. I did test the internet speed and it’s OK but was under 20 Mbs for download but didn’t notice any issues during a zoom call. Otherwise the unit was comfortable and convenient for me to work in.

I enjoyed my stay at Maria’s home. Uber rides were typically around $1.50 USD. There were restaurants within blocks. There was a grocery store on the same street a blocked down. I felt safe in this neighborhood. The home was clean and looked like the photos, the AC worked great. We could not figure out how to get the TV to English, but that is OK. We were in Columbia. The only thing that people might want to know is that it is a very firm bed. For me personally I like softer beds, but my spouse really enjoyed the firm bed. Each person is different some people like soft some people like firm. I had no concerns. I would recommend. Maria is very helpful and willing and available to answer. Any questions at any time.

Great location, lots of restaurants and things to do nearby.

John is one of the greatest host I’ve had so far. He was super helpful, attentive, and went out of his way to personally meet us and showed us everything in the apartment making sure all our needs were meant. I highly recommend John if you are staying in Barranquilla, very nice guy and great hospitality.

The apt is the same as in the photos, it is very comfortable and clean, it has everything you need to have a pleasant stay. Arnold was very kind and was always ready for what we needed. Highly recommended.

Superb apartment in a secure area. Dedicated parking space and lots of amenities. All the necessities are available. Very proactive and responsive host.

Yessina and Ricardo were very friendly and accommodating. Ricardo was the one who received us at the apartment, and he provided some recommendations as well. This was refreshing as I haven't seen this for an airbnb in a long time (most of them are auto check in). The location is a little bit outside of the city (~15-20 mins to El Prado and near by). That said, the stay was enjoyable and I would recommend if location is not a deal breaker for you.

The apartment is located in a very strategic area of the City, a very good stay, a little hard the beds, but the rest is 5 stars, thank you very much.

Very good stay. The building has many amenities and is well located. The apartment is super clean and with everything you need. Also, Carlos is a very good host, he was on the lookout all the time and we even forgot a cane and called us right away so we could return and pick it up. RECOMMENDED

This place is incredible, and the host is extremely attentive. The location is extremely central and close to great bars and restaurants.

Most genuine and loving hosts! They are so welcoming and caring and really value connecting with their guests. We stayed during carnival and it’s quite loud as there are street parties right outside (but this is to be expected with carnival)! I will define you stay with them again next time we’re in Barranquilla. Thank you so much family!

I stayed for 4 nights and it was an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were very friendly and thoughtful. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. I especially liked the location of the accommodation, very quiet, safe. Overall, my stay was excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.
