Very nice location close to downtown but in a peaceful neighborhood.

If you’re in the area to play Broomsedge, this is a great option for 2-4 people.

Overall it was a great stay. Laura was a wonderful host very responsive and kind. Like others said, it is dated and could definitely use some updates, but it was cozy. Kind of felt like grandma's house. But overall, it was a nice quiet stay close to everything

The house was just to my liking it was clean smell smell great and most of all it has a lot of space I would recommend it to anyone

Third bedroom is NOT the pullout couch. There is actually a third bedroom with a bed!! This was a pleasant surprise as the listing did not show it. Very clean house. Host responds quickly. We were racing at Florence Motor Speedway and the location was great. Would stay again.

Spacious, beautiful, and convenient location to all necessary needs. Clean and impressive location. The kitchen was really spacious for family and friends.

Loved the place. Initially booked for a little under two weeks but extended for another two. They responded Quickly, answered any questions and the extension was very easy. If I’m ever working in the area again, they will be the first place I check.

Great place as we traveled and stayed one night. Very peaceful and clean. Good floor plan for the family and all is accessible and availble within a reach of a hand. Not small large enough for great gathering or just like we did stayed over night. Great communication. Happy we made there.

This remodeled home was done perfectly. Awesome little spot, even tho it’s a small home it feels like you have tons of room because of how it’s laid out. Grill outside was squeaky clean, and the host even brought us a brand new coffee pot because we couldn’t figure out how to work the espresso haha. If I’m ever back in the area again for work, I will stay here again. No question. Beds are super comfortable too. Thanks again!

The house was spotless and very large inside. Katherine was very communicative and responded quickly when asked about basic cooking supplies. There is a busy street right next to the house and at one point strange men entered the back yard to the pool without letting us know to expect them. Lots of trees which shaded the pool but also drop a lot of leaves in the pool. My family living there did say Sumter has a high crime rate and we were near a “bad” area and we did hear gunshots on Saturday night.

This was our first AirBnB experience and it exceeded our expectations. Crystal was lovely, her guesthouse was even larger than I expected (the photos didn’t do it justice!) and it was great to take a dip in the pool after a long day of driving. If I’m ever in Sumter in the future, I would love to stay here again.

Host was very nice and responsive. House was very clean and had everything needed. Was easy to relax in and sit outside. Will recommend this host when family come to visit.

We wish we could have stayed longer than one night. I could have spent all day sitting on the enclosed porch and watching the birds. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We also enjoyed the turtles in the pond. The cottage itself had everything you could possibly need. We felt right at home. We really enjoyed our time here.

The place was just as the host described it. The kids loved the animals. We ran into the host a couple of times during our stay and she was nice and friendly. We’ll definitely be back to stay.

We loved staying here! It was relaxing, peaceful and close to amenities. We love SC! It was an elegant home. Towels were so big I could wrap myself around twice. The bed were really comfy. We only slept in the master bedroom. It was so great to rent a place with everything I needed to cook. We brought our camping grill and sat on the deck peacefully and cooked our dinner. The bathrooms were clean. Of course the doggies loved the outside space. Even doggie bags were provided to clean up after pups. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We are so happy we found this beautiful place as we drove through SC. Words cannot express how peaceful and serene the location is. The cottage is exactly as it is in the pictures and the hosts’ attention to details and all the essentials is unbelievable. You can’t help but feel transported back into the colonial period as soon as you drive in through the gates. Perfect size for our family of 4 and the dog. Host were kind and responded immediately to all our questions promptly. They even took the time to explain the history of the house and arrea. Having a noon checkout allowed us to pack up at a leisurely pace and disconnected from the hustle and bustle of every day life. HIGHLY recommend staying here. Magnolia Cottage is definitely on our repeat stay list. ☺️

We enjoyed our stay while in town for a wedding. It provided a comfortable space to stay with plenty of room. Had everything we needed. Sweet little neighborhood and so close to swan lake for a beautiful walk.

The place has absolutely beautiful surroundings. The porch is great to sit out and watch the sunset. It’s quiet and because it’s up on hill it feels like you are only one around for a long while.
