Stephanie’s cottage was the perfect place for us to spend an Easter weekend visiting our son, who goes to college in New London. Sunapee Harbor is a small quaint village and the small cottages are both charming and clean steps from the lake. The unit comfortably sleeps 5 (we were 4 people) and looks just like the pictures. The small front porch is a nice place to sit and chat while enjoying your favorite beverage. Stephanie was a great host and a pleasure to communicate with from the time we booked till checkout. We would definitely recommend this place as long as you don’t book it when we are planning to come back. Thank you Stephanie!

the place was even better than the photos show. everything looked brand new. the bathroom was great with heated floors and nice shower. stocked with nice towels. w/d. kitchen was fully stocked with supplies. nice open space with plenty of room to be comfortable. nice TV with app access. garage for one and outside for another. Angela was very communicative and helpful. cost was reasonable compared to area and looked better than others. highly recommend.

My husband and I had a very relaxing weekend away. The cabin was cozy, especially the beds and seating by the fireplace. Alecia made us feel welcome and comfortable with all the features of the house. She was very responsive and paid a lot of attention to detail. While visiting the cabin I was able to go for a long run (plenty of hills!) and eat at some delicious local restaurants. We look forward to an opportunity when we can come back.

We loved the home. Perfect for our ski vacation to Sunapee and Okemo! It was one of our favorite Airbnb’s. So cozy, great location, great atmosphere, great decorating, etc. We just felt right at home from a minute. We walked in the door Beds comfortable. The upstairs is great if you have a few kids who just want to crash on a bunch of different beds. Laurie, who we mostly communicated with, was fantastic. So nice and so easy to get in touch with if we needed her for anything. Thanks for a great day! Hope to come back someday.

If you are looking for an idyllic lake house experience, this is it! We could have spent our entire trip just sitting on the porches—upstairs, downstairs, one screened-in porch, and the lovely dock. We used the kayaks and the paddle boat multiple times. The house was perfect for us because we are a close family of three, but if you need privacy from other guests, this wouldn’t be the ideal house as one bedroom opens into the other. The beds are soft and comfortable as is the sofa. Paula and Tim were extremely responsive and helpful. We would absolutely return to this house. It was difficult to leave the gorgeous leaves.

Words I don’t think can describe how amazing Herrick cove is!!! The house was even more beautiful than we could have hoped for!! The space was laid out beautifully and had everything and more!! Jen was super responsive gave detailed instructions and the place felt like home sweet home for our stay!! We can’t wait to book again hopefully next time during the summer months when we can get full use of the lake and all the amenities it has to offer!!! October was a little too chilly to go swimming haha!! Thank you so much for opening your wonderfully beautiful home!!

We had a wonderful weekend in this beautiful condo! It was by far the cleanest airbnb our family has ever rented. The kitchen felt like everything was brand new, as if we were the first to cook in it! All of the bathrooms were the same, I felt as if we were walking into a brand new home. All of the beds were comfortable and the home was a great set up for our family with 3 small children. Our kids loved having their own space and the bean bag chairs for movie nights. The location was also perfect for our ski days, just under a 15 minute drive to the mountain. And the views! The most stunning mountain view from the main living space of the home. We would definitely come back!

We had a lovely long stay at Melanie's house! We are already thinking of when we can come back :) Melanie is a terrific host- warm, responsive, helpful and caring. The house is super comfy, spacious and welcoming (for human and animal guests alike)! The area is also so lovely- the local residents are super friendly. People say "Hi!" and smile when they pass you on the path or trails here :). I cannot say enough wonderful things. We are grateful to have found Melanie's house and made some great memories here. Thank you, Melanie, for an amazing stay.
