Holiday rentals with a patio in Streymoy

I stayed at Sufia's place for 11 days in late May / early June of 2025. It would be difficult to exaggerate what a wonderful experience it was. The apartment itself was super-clean and comfortable. Also, it is very close to nearly everything. That is, within walking distance. So, whether you wanted a pizza, or fish and chips, or a pricey restaurant, even a small shopping mall....yes, there is a small shopping mall....you can walk it. This apartment, like it says in the AirBnB description, is charming. Private entrance private toilet and shower, etc. It was everything I expected - and more. Very homey. In conclusion, whether you are staying in the Faroe Islands just for a short time, or a lengthier time like me, you would be very happy. Couldn't have made a better choice. Kind regards, Terry M.

Perfectly located on a nice and quiet street! Short walking distance from the centre. The apartment is extremely nice and cosy, very clean and beatifully decorated. Highly recommend staying at Guðrun's place!

I enjoyed my stay at Tórun's place, it is at a good location just outside of downtown Tórshavn.

The location was perfect t for seeing all Faroe has to offer. The apartment is centrally located to so many sights. Glad we didn't stay in Torshaven, we would have had a long drive back each day after touring. The apartment has a great view across the water, and a cascading waterfall in the other direction. The location was very private and quiet. A grocery is just a short walk away and has everything. We loved Faroe and loved staying in the apartment.

Jónleyg was a great host and the place is beautiful and cozy. The area has a lot of hiking routes and is a great place if you want to get away a little bit. Highly recommend ☀️

We are happy to have stayed in this house for a unique experience that made us jump in time and space. Arriving in the Faroe Islands was like being transported to another dimension, staying in Marianna's house helps to rediscover the charm of a forgotten time. A warm and enveloping environment where even the creaking of the floorboards makes you feel good. The house is in a beautiful and quiet location. Logistically in a strategic position to reach all the Faroe Islands. There is everything you need to feel good and feel part of the fantastic world of these islands. Finally, a healthy and fair spirit of adaptation is required: access to the bathroom from a hatch is not entirely easy and the height of the bathroom ceiling is less than 1.75m. That said, I'm 1.80m tall but I would definitely go back...

We had a wonderful stay at this cosy and charming house, just a short 10-minute drive from the capital. The location is perfect to explore the Faroe Islands, and we loved feeling like locals in this quiet, residential area. The house is spacious for two, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated — we immediately felt at home. The view over the fjord is simply breathtaking, and the bed was super comfy. Bonus points for the rowing machine if you still got energy after all these fantastic hikings! Highly recommend this peaceful and homy spot for anyone visiting the islands.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the place. It's one of the best places I've stayed in a while. It has everything, it's squeaky clean, it's easy to find and the hosts are extremely fast to respond. 10/10 can recommend!

We had the great pleasure to stay at Heini and his family’s home during Olai in July, and it suited perfect for us and our needs. Heini was very responsive and flexible with our stay, and were able to bring an extra baby nest so we could fit the whole family (6 adults and 5 children). The house was clean, spacious, really well-equipped and with a view of Tórshavn and Nólsoy to die for. We mostly walked downtown (downhill) and took the bus back, which stops just outside the house. All in all we had a great stay, and we truly recommend this place if you are a big family or group looking for a place to withdraw a bit from the city and relax with a great view - note that some of the beds are a bit smaller than queen size, but it works well if you have children along. What an absolute gem to find not only was the location perfect our host was very informative and friendly. The house was perfect in every way. It was sad that we had to leave. Hopefully we will definitely be coming back. Thanks for a wonderful stay blue sky and Sunshine the whole time.,

I loved Maria's place, it has beautiful views, was clean and comfortable, and a great location. You are close to the airport and some lovely walks/hikes in the village along with a short drive to some really special sites. We didn't cook much but the kitchen is fully equipped. All the kitchen lights work, there are two separate switches (a review said they didn't work). The house was cozy and warm with plenty of room to spread out. The stairs to the loft bedrooms and to basement laundry/bedroom/2nd bathroom are steep so if this is a concern I would ask the host. It was not a problem for us but it could be for someone else. It is a charming small town overall, we loved the house and found Bjork easy to communicate with.

Lovely and homely feel, plenty of character. Greta location, near to supermarket and superb Indian take away! Easy access to the tunnels and airport so ideal for me as I was working all over the country, and easy free parking on the drive. Thanks.

Solva was a great host! Place was absolutely perfect for us and we could walk to everything in town. Solva was very helpful with recommendations and tips for things to do. We got to see a B36 game and that was definitely a highlight. Thank you Solva for a great stay! would definitely come back here.

The place met everything we expected. The host is a good person. The village where this place is located in the center of the islands, so access to anywhere within an hour !!
