The cottages at Thurranes are 43 square meters. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a sleeping loft that fits 2 adults. The house can accommodate 6 adults. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The house is equipped with a kitchen, where you find a little stove, a sink, a microwave and refrigerator. The living room has a couch and a small TV set. A small bathroom with a shower. Hot water, central heating but no WiFi A private hot tub, chairs and a gas BBQ are on the deck.

Friendly Farmhouse Víðidalsá, room 31

A friendly old farmhouse built in 1926, that is slowly being renovated. There are no animals anymore except Loppa the dog, but a horse rental is only a 2 minutes walk. A peaceful surrounding with a crystal clear salmon river (a fishing license needed) right by the house. Located in the countryside close only a 2-3 minutes drive from Hólmavík village, which has several attractions, an excellent warmwater swimming pool, a supermarket, a brewery and a couple of good restaurants. Hvammur 2 Bjarg Cottage with a private hot tub

Bjarg is a summerhouse in Bjarnarfjordur, 25 km from Hólmavík. Excellent location for travelling to North/South Strandir or Westfjords. The house stands by the river that runs down the valley. It is a quiet place an excellent place to see the northern lights. Swimming pool and geothermal hot tubs are located in Laugarhóll about 1 km from the house. Outside the house is a fire place, surrounded with trees. Good for quiet evening under the sky and aurora borealis.

A beautyful country house in the westfjords, surrounded by mountains. we offer this listing only in the winter time with self service as a low price. In self service meaning that you make your own bed, there are bed linen avalible. And you clean after your self and put the bed linen in the washer and put them away as they where when you arrived to our house. We have towels for you and wc paper the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking.

A beautiful original Icelandic house out in the country side. An ideal location to explore the West fjords! The house has three bedrooms and a living room, a bathroom with shower and well equipped kitchen with dining area. The house is a family summerhouse, but was originally built by our grandfather and grandmother, who lived there for most of their lives.
