Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Strait of Juan de Fuca

The host was very responsive to my requests for flexible check in and out. The apartment is not spacious but good enough for a couple's short term stay. It is in very close proximity to the Space Needle and surrounding park area. It is about a 15 minute walk to the larger concentration of restaurants and shops catering to tourists. Starbuckd across the street is a plus.

What a lovely space! I wish we had had more time to cozy up in the apartment, but we were gone for a lot of the stay. It was pristine, very comfortable and very well stocked. The only kind of interesting thing was the bed is rotated 90º, so one person has to sleep against the wall and crawl over the other if they need to get out. Also, definitely read the instructions on how to find the place because Google Maps took me around the back instead of up the driveway. Amazing experience from start to finish. Easy, simple and a property that exceeded our expectations. The view is second to none. The place is very comfortable and well laid out inside and out. Everything was awesome and I’d highly recommend a stay. It wil not disappoint.

Colin’s ground floor apartment was very easy to get in and out of, parking was very well described and fit our giant rental SUV, the place had just about the right amount of amenities - well stocked kitchen with seasonings, oils, coffee - yea(!), plenty of towels, the washer and dryer were very appreciated, ample bedding, comfortable beds, fans, blankets. The apartment was quiet and spacious enough to fit a portable crib in the master, the workout room was a nice addition and straightforward to get into. My only major complaint was that there wasn’t a hair dryer, but luckily one of our group packed one and shared, so I didn’t have to go buy one. I did have to clean a fan before we felt comfortable using it, and another bedside table in the extra bedroom for phones, etc. would be nice, but other than that, we were well provided for. Colin was easy to communicate with both before and while at the property. I would highly recommend staying at Colin’s place.

Excellent host…property was roomy recently done over with many nice touches. Very comfortable beds and amenities for our group of six. Kitchen and bathroom very well well supplied. Would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation.

Highly recommend. Great location for jumping off to the parks and beach and other fun locations. Super flexible when I got my date wrong and couldn't change it. Very responsive hosts. Would stay again. The hot tub and sauna were very helpful after a long day of hiking and travel.

We had a short but great stay at Claire’s! The space was perfect for our group and check in and out went very smoothly! The space was clean and we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

The location of this place couldn't be better for exploring the Island and especially for mountain biking (hosts were very accommodating with letting us store/charge our ebikes in their garage during our visit). Very easy access to everything North and South of Nanaimo as well as the city itself. The apartment is very peaceful with your own private garden/sitting area. While Nash and Louise are delightful hosts the real star of this property is Ollie, the most well behaved dog you will ever meet. Ollie greeted us upon our arrival and checked in most mornings to make sure we were well taken care of. Be sure to get Nash and Louise's restaurant recommendations.

After 2 weeks of travelling the island, Shirley’s stay was just what we needed. Very relaxing and cozy. Would highly recommend !

This house is well set-up for numerous people. We had 6 adults and 2 toddlers but never felt cramped. Very helpful having a private, fenced-in backyard! And the thoughtful gestures of extra toothbrushes and toothpaste and other toiletries was great! Jamie is a very responsive and helpful hostess, as well! I would definitely recommend this location for large groups/families and if need be, would book it again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Torrey's place! If you're looking to stay near Bellingham, in a beautiful location, this place is the bees' knees!

The log cabin was the perfect place for us to stay after an epic West Canada road trip. Quiet, comfortable, relaxing. Walkable to nearby supermarkets and places to eat. Great communication, checking in on us to make sure all was well. Would stay here again!

This is a lovely property. There was a lot of thought put into making this property comfortable for guests. Nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen and plenty of good quality towels and pool towels. We made use of the hot tub and sauna. The hot tub and pool were well maintained during our stay. The weather was a bit chilly when we were there so we didn’t use the pool much. Would love to come back and experience Matt & Lina’s home in the summer.

We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to spend a week in vancouver . Sean and machiko have shown such kindess and been so lovely and welcoming even making us breakfast the day of our flight . An interesting and eclectic space with gorgeous design we 100 percent reccomend !

We just had an amazing time in Robert’s place - made extra special because we could park our car easily there and go absolutely everywhere by foot! The apartment was extremely well equipped, comfortable and Robert was an exceptionally responsive and proactive host. We’ll be back!

I put a lot of thought into finding the right place before coming to Vancouver. While many people prefer staying downtown, I prioritized comfort, safety, and peace of mind. That’s why I chose this place, and it turned out to be the best decision. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, the room is clean and cozy, and it has everything I needed—TV, desk, and more. But what truly made my stay special were the amazing hosts, Billy and Justin. They were incredibly kind and made me feel at home from day one. Thanks to them, I quickly felt settled and comfortable, even though I was in a new country. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to sleep well in a new place, but the bed was so comfortable and the atmosphere so calm that I had no trouble at all. I originally chose this place because of the great reviews, and now I can say, they were right. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Thank you so much. Being here made me truly happy, all because of you. Billy and Justin! :)
