Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Stowe

We had an amazing stay at Bjorn's beautiful home where it was as picture-perfect as advertised! It is a gorgeous and modern home that was clean, well-stocked, and uniquely designed in such stunning surroundings (even in the rainy weather!). We cannot recommend Bjorn's home enough and are so appreciative of his accommodations in helping us celebrate our Middlebury grad!

This place is stunning. It was comfy, cozy, well appointed and not lacking anything. It was really nice to walk to the grocery store for some food supplies and the kitchen was a dream. We usually eat out for dinner when we are travelling, but this kitchen was fully stocked so we could actually cook a full dinner with plenty of cookware, dishes etc.. The beds were extremely cozy, the towels were fluffy and plentiful. The games room was so fun and helped make some core memories for my 3 teenage boys (our family is a bit competitive). Extra touches around the home show this place is run by professionals who really care about quality and comfort. Fresh flowers in the kitchen (my favorite) + fresh local fudge (kids favorite) + a few local beers ready in the fridge (husbands favorite). We REALLY enjoyed our stay and we will be sure to return.

The Barnbrook House was like something from a fairytale. It was more spacious than we thought looking at the photos. I loved my stay here, Dana was very communicative and timely. The fireplace was a great feature of the accommodation which we made good use of. I liked how there was an off grid vibe without actually being too far away from modern conveniences like Wifi, TV, AC. I would stay here again.

A beautiful Stowe getaway. The house has beautiful views of Mt. Mansfield, boasts plenty of space, and is in a great location relative to town.

Great stay! The place was clean, quiet, and in a very central location. Helena was responsive and made everything easy. Would definitely recommend.

The pictures on the site represent 100% and more! We arrived close to midnight in complete darkness only to wake with the peaceful sounds of nature, surrounded by majestic trees and lush northern foliage. My only regret was that I had to rush back home and not have more time to explore the area. Don’t pass up on an opportunity to stay at Raquel’s gorgeous, warm and inviting woodland cabin, unless you prefer hotel powdered eggs 🤣

A charming cabin in the woods. it's an old house with modern amenities. Steps to upstairs are made of wooden logs. Beams in the house look original, hand cut with axe marks on them which was very interesting to see. Kitchen is large and modern, though we didn't use it. In short, it's a very beautiful and comfortable house.

Truly a great spot with all the small things you need to make it a special weekend. Craig and Terri had excellent communication and do everything to make you feel right at home. I’ve stayed at this place now three times and am already looking forward to being back!

Very tranquil place, very clean shower, comfortable bed, great amenities, lots of magazines and easy to use television. Very short distance from Montpelier. Nice bird variety, lovely flowers, you can hear the river from the apartment. Bridge is cool, river bank is fun, chairs outside.

Ashley's place was a peaceful and quiet respite. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were very clean. The location to town was wonderful. We would stay again.

Lovely renovated snow getaway centrally located to the town and very near the slopes. we have a wonderful time at our hosts were very responsive and very easy to get along with.

We had the most fantastic stay with Sheila and Jeremy! The home was spotless and beautifully decorated. Sheila was a proactive and responsive communicator. But what stood out to us more than anything were the various thoughtful touches provided during our stay. We arrived late, after a long drive, and Sheila and Jeremy were there to meet us in person and help carry our bags inside. They had fresh muffins waiting and even left some snacks (cheese, crackers, grapes) in the fridge in case we hadn’t eaten dinner. They also provided coffee, tea, milk, honey, which was great in the mornings, and we so appreciated having access to the washer & dryer to do some laundry. Overall, we can’t say enough good things about our stay and we hope to return!

Ideal, beautiful location for visiting Middlebury and this gorgeous region of Vermont. The setting by the river is stunning and soothing. The unit is very comfortable and has everything you need. The host is gracious and welcoming. We feel so fortunate to have found this lovely location!

the place was even nicer than expected. very spacious and clean. great little fenced in area for the dogs to run around. 15min drive to Jay, and less than 5 min from a good restaurant, gas, and a grocery store. really appreciated the kids toys for our little one too!

We loved Tim’s apartment for our Stowe ski weekend. It was just as described and in a beautiful setting. Tim was also great to communicate with and very accommodating when we had some last minute changes to our plans. Will definitely stay here again on a return trip - highly recommend!

My stay is hard to review. Was looking so forward to this weekend getaway but was battle tested with sickness and terrible weather. Nothing bad to say about the listing just bad timing making it hard to fully enjoy. I would highly recommend this stay otherwise as it was definitely capable of providing what I had wanted. We absolutely adored our stay at the cabin. It is idyllic inside and out! It was amazing to come home to after a day of exploring. The bed was super comfortable and the highlight for us was watching VHS on the TV with snacks. It is so well equipped and cosy, also enjoyed a lovely bath in the claw foot tub. Just perfect for a rustic, cosy stay in nature. A highlight for me was stepping outside at night and listening to (I assume they were) frogs!! They were so loud and it was incredible to hear them, the trees were also surrounded by fireflies (I’d never seen them before!) and I’ll always remember that perfect moment of peace. Thank you for making our 10 year anniversary so memorable with such a lovely place to stay, if you’re thinking of it for a special occasion or just as a base to explore this adorable region of Vermont, look no further :) thank you!

We loved our stay and hope to come back again!

We had a lovely stay in the cabin and had the whole camp to ourselves. It was really easy for us to head out each day with our dog and enjoy the lake & woods. At night we grilled and enjoyed the wondering gas fire.

We had an amazing stay at the Waldhaus. It’s so quiet and serene, and we loved the view from the huge picture windows in the living room. Our kids felt right at home with the bunk beds and puzzles/activities. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. We hope to return soon!

Super cute area, definitely an authentic rural Vermont stay. Made us feel right at home in the nature. Outhouse made for an interesting new experience, but overall great get away.

We loved Rebecca and Josh's place! The outdoor surroundings were serene and we loved how the place felt tucked away. We were weren't there long enough to explore any trails but we want to come back! There were many thoughtful touches to the place, and fire starters/fire wood provided for us. The hot tub was very relaxing! The inside of the house was decorated very artsy and tastefully! Definitely would recommend :)

The house is private and fit the three of us well. Lots of outdoor space, fire pit! Weather was rainy for most of our visit but enjoyed visiting Waterbury and waitsfield and had great meals!!
