AIRD VILLA, Scalpay, on the Isle of Harris

Aird Villa with its south facing decking is said to be one of the nicest houses on the Isle of Scalpay. It sits overlooking Scalpay’s quiet North Harbour where the local fishing boats are moored. From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. Our Island house is located 3.8 miles (9 mins by car and on main bus route) from Stornoway, the Capital of the Western Isles. The house has beautiful sea views across Broadbay and the Minch, it is a short walk to the nearby beach. The property belongs to my partner but I help with the admin of his holiday home venture. My partner is a builder and finished renovating the house in July 2019. He stripped back the property to the bare bricks and basically started again from four walls.
