Elvevoll The house has been in our family's ownership since it was built by our great-grandparents. They used it as a farm and we use it today as a holiday home. It ´ s 5 bedrooms, spacious living room and a separate kitchen. There is a newly renovated bathroom from 2024. There is a large lawn on the property on about two acres with BBQ facilities and tables. The cabin in Heggeli is an old rebuilt barn. It is warm and charming, with wood burning that provides good atmosphere and warmth. There is electricity, and cooking facilities with a gas stove. There is an outdoor toilet close to the cabin, but the possibility to use the toilet and shower/sauna in another building. There is no running water, but this is easily collected nearby. The cabin is located 120 kilometers from Tromsø (1 hour and 45 minutes by car), and 6 km from Skibotn center. It’s the perfect place for hiking, northern lights watching and fishing. There are also various possibilities for both off-road cycling and skiing. The panoramic view over the Alps of Lyngen, the fireplace, the sauna and the traditional outdoor compost toilet, make the place exotic. In winter you must fetch water from a nearby river/well, and use the sauna oven or the stove to heat it.
