Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Stor-Elvdal

We recently had the pleasure of being the first guests at Ole's newly renovated farm cottage. The experience was top notch from beginning to end. Ole was very responsive to all of my messaging. The location on his 4th generation family farm was incredible. There were great views, plenty of outdoor space and a friendly cat (Linus). The ski slope was literally a 30m walk from the door of the cottage. Inside the accommodations were vary spacious with a mud room, a well equipped large kitchen with 2 sinks and a dishwasher, two very nice modern bathrooms with heated floors and comfortable bedding. The ceiling was a little low in spots, but if I remember correctly this cottage was originally built in the early 1900's. The drive into town was only about 5 min and there was a cute local farm market just done the road. Finally, the host Ole was a great host. He was responsive, friendly, and engaging. He even showed my wife around the farm on the day the rest of the family skied.

Omar is an incredibly great host, very accommodating, helpful and professional. The home was clean, cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend it to other people who are thinking about booking.

We were already there last year, knew what to expect and chose the house again because of that. There is just everything you need, it is very cozy and comfortable, and the ski conditions are perfect. Sitting outside on the sofa in the sun in the afternoon simply cannot be replaced :-) Only the communication for the appointment for the booking was a bit difficult, as we come from Germany and rely on vacation/ferry trips. But it may also be due to the automatic translation. Unfortunately, a short-term cancellation on our side was no longer taken into account in the price. But apart from these formalities: the house and Bjornar are great, I would go back anytime, perfect for a group of 8 people to ski in Kvitfjell!

Staying at Jan's cottage felt like being invited to stay by a friend who trusts you to look after their belongings. It's very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. The cottage is right out in the countryside, which is wonderful - peace and quiet, lovely views, and we saw a mountain hare very close by. You definitely need a car, or to be a good skier in winter! We had very unusual freeze/thaw conditions and our hired car was inadequate for driving up and down the small road. Jan was really helpful, making sure the road was snow-ploughed, and responding very quickly to queries. We had a great time.

Hafjell and the accommodation was great. The cottage was perfect for two adults that want to live close to the slopes but still get the quiet surroundings. We loved it!

Lovely primitive cabin in tiny settlement away from it all. Cross country skiing trails right outside the door. A little imprecise description from the host - there is no fridge, oven or grill as listed - however that didnt impact our great experience in Sissels lovely hut, and we totally recommend a stay in the cabin, if you want to experience a back to basics stay without 220v and running water. We stayed in -15 C and managed to keep warm enough, though we slept in front of the fireplace the first night :).

Super well located apartment with ski in/out right next to piste 44 - quiet surroundings and a really nice "ski shed" with the opportunity to fix its skis. We'd love to come again.

We had a really lovely holiday in the spacious and nicely decorated house. We highly recommend the house. Easy communication with the owner, and clear instructions made the holiday easy and convenient.

Stayed there for three nights, and we absolutely loved the place. Had everything we could ask for, only a few meters from an access route to the ski area. Place was clean and tidy when we got there, and we certainly enjoyed our time there. An advantage that we could have a dog there. Kari was very easy to communicate and accepted a slightly later check out, very quick responses and helpful

Own a very nice cottage to rent with children and grandchildren and visit Hunderfossen which is just nearby. 👍 Pleasant place!

We had a really good stay and were very happy with the accommodation. It matched our needs and lived up to expectations. There's a great view, light ski in/out, and plenty of room for a larger family/group. Communication with Laila was really good and very informative.😊

We were two families with a total of three children under 5 years old who had a very nice time at Heidi's cabin last weekend in May. We spent a day at Hunderfossen, and the cabin was perfectly located in relation to it. There is a lot to do outdoors for the children, with good cycling opportunities (paved roller ski slope), a frisbee golf course ++ right outside the door. There is also a Joker shop right next door. Few people in the area outside of the season. Very nice and modern cabin with many beds, and two nice bathrooms. Steep stairs up to the loft/2nd floor, but it went well. Cozy with an extra loft room with TV for the kids. We would love to come back here the next time we go to Hafjell! :-)

Fantastic cottage, nice and pleasantly decorated, well equipped and cozy. One of the nicest and most beautiful cottages we have had. Nice and beautiful ski resort, with many nice coffee and lunch options. We greatly enjoyed it. Two small areas for improvement: Unfortunately not easily accessible for the snowboarders (too flat slopes to and from) and we did not realize that the bedding and linens were not included, so we had to drive back to the village.

Eirik has a beautiful cozy house, quietly located in the with a breathtaking panorama over the countryside. Except for the spacious living and dining area, it consists of many small rooms with very comfortable beds. The kitchen was superbly equipped. Everything was very clean and lovingly furnished. During our stay, not much communication was needed, but Eirik was proactive and always easily accessible. The Norwegian romance has enchanted us through and around this house. Thanks! A clear recommendation!
