Gammelstua at Storsæter Gård on Engeløya in Steigen

The Old House of our farm, charming house with a spectacular mountain wiew! The house is built about 1880, the bathroom and the kitchen is renovated. Here you can travel back in time, no tv.. The stairs scueecs, and the floor can be a bit cold in the winter, but all is forgotten when you fire up the fireplace. The island is perfect for hiking, biking and kajaking. Check in after 4 p.m, check out before 12 a.m. Transportation to or from the boat can be arranged. We wish you a peaceful stay.

Røtnes is a beautiful bay on the stunning island of Engeløya, just opposite the Lofoten Islands. On the island you can find pristine, white beaches, mountains and valleys and the sea is crystal clear with plenty of fish. In our homestead we have a generous size barn where we have an artist studio, workshops and the guest studio apartment that we offer up as Air B&B. A wooden rowing boat, a canoe, kayaks and bikes to rent in spring, summer and autumn.

My place is good for couples, traveling alone, business travelers and families (with children). The cabin is located in the village of Nes on Hamarøy, 5 km from Skutvik. The cabin is located on the outskirts of the village and has the landlord as the closest neighbor.
