“This was a fantastic place to stay for our family, in the heart of town, close to shops, the Nut and the port. Kerry was an excellent host, offering us regular tips about places to eat as the town was just starting to open up with the easing of COVID-19 restrictions. She even messaged us to let us know a whale had stranded on the beach! We headed down with the kids to have a look. It was successfully rescued and swam out to sea. Happy to recommend Little Talisker to anyone.”
One of two co-joined, two bedroom cottages, No. 5 is right in the heart of Stanley, with easy access to all the village's delights.
“We highly recommend staying at Sam’s lovely place in Stanley. He and Louise have thought of everything you might need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, including a complimentary little cheese platter on arrival. It was great to have one room set up with two single beds for our teenage children and touches like throw rugs and hot water bottles (yes, needed even in January!) meant we were very comfortable. We’re so glad we took Sam’s good advice and booked a place for dinner as it was a very busy evening. We just wish we’d had longer to stay in Stanley. Hopefully we’ll be back one day!”

“Virginia's cottage is a delightful, well appointed place, ideal for a couple. It is within easy walking distance to restaurants and quaint shops. The cottage was warm and the deck would be a great place to relax on a sunny day. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would highly recommend to other travellers.”
