Holiday rentals with beach access in Stair of the Turks

A fantastic apartment in a peaceful place near the village of Sciacca with sea views. Within 5 minutes you can walk to the public beach and in 10 minutes you are at a supermarket and some bars. The village is about a 5 minute car ride. The apartment is full of comforts and with a comfortable bed, a good sofa and plenty of kitchen facilities. You park your car in front of your porch.. Communication with Vincenzo was good. Nice base for beach, Sciacca Agrigento (hour drive). We had a lovely stay (2 adults and 2 young children). Highly recommended, definitely seen value for money!

Nice location walking distance down steps to a beautiful beach . Lots of space in the apartment. The kitchen could do with more equipment . We arrived late due to car hire issues . It would be lovely to have a small welcome pack in the apartment . A short drive gets you to the town of Sciacca where there are lots of nice restaurants Overall a great location and a lovely holiday .

This was truly 1 of the most beautiful apartments we have ever stayed in through Airbnb. The apartment looked very new and everything felt very luxurious. Ernesto was super friendly and welcomed us warmly. He even kept a parking space free for us. Incidentally, parking in the streets around the apartment is easy and free. If you want to stay near Agrigento, you have to be in this apartment! Please note that if you want to use both bedrooms (and bathrooms), you have to book for 3 people (even if you are only 2). We had missed this, despite it being mentioned in the advertisement. Fortunately, we were able to arrange and adjust this on the spot with the help of Ernesto.

We had an amazing stay, the property is right on the beach and just outside the property you could see the sea. We sat outside in the evenings and enjoyed the view and the peace. Maria's son's met us on arrival and helped us park the car, parking is a bit tight but typical of small Sicilian towns. We spent a day at the beach and also explored the local area. Would 100% recommend and we will be coming back. Be aware that there are no local shops within walking distance so I would recommend stopping at a shop on the way to get supplies. The BNB comes with coffee and other basic neccesities which was a nice touch.

The apartment and the hostess are great! In itself, the location by the sea is also very good. However, you should know that the distances or times given in the text are not entirely correct. This is especially important if you - like us - are traveling without a car. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the center or such a central square by the sea of San Leone (and there is sometimes no sidewalk, which is important if you - like us - travel with a stroller). The nearest supermarket is about as far. Without us asking, Olga drove us once for a big shopping trip to the supermarket and to the Valle dei Templi, picked us up from the train station and brought us back. That was really exceptional! Thanks again, Olga!

Very comfortable accommodation. A large and quiet place to stay right in town.

Gaetano's house is really very, very nice, with attention to every detail, clean and with maximum comfort, with a garden full of beautiful local plants. A beautiful sea view to enjoy on the terrace for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the silence of the infinite reserve that runs along the sea. Gaetano is a super host, kind and caring, punctual in giving us directions and suggestions. We had a great time, thank you so much for hosting us, we will definitely be back. PS: The granita was great!

Brand new and very healthy accommodation. Large, with two beautiful terraces. The residence is a bit in the middle of nowhere without a car (there is the campsite restaurant, very nice, on foot only) but it is a good central point by car to visit the region and the beach of the marina 5 min by car is super beautiful. As the accommodation is new, baby equipment was still missing, but for families with older children it is perfect! Antonella found us a ball for our son, which was super nice! Their communication was very good.

We had a great time at Walter’s place. He was in communication with us as soon as we booked the trip. We were able to ask about parking (free right outside the apartment) and confirm we would’t drive through the ZTL. There was some construction happening in an adjacent unit which Walter warned us about as soon as they started and even offered to cancel our stay and give us a refund. We barely even noticed the construction past the beautiful view from the apartment and large balcony which we ate all our meals on. We were greeted by Walter’s associate who helped us bring our luggage up the stairs and gave us a tour of the place. The beach is gorgeous and quiet. We were there during the week in the middle of the day and there were probably 5 other people on the beach. Walter left 2 chairs, towels, and an umbrella for the beach. Walter also sent a detailed document with local recommendations including places to park and eat in the city of Sciacca. We would definitely stay again.

We (my family and friends' family) had a fantastic month at Gianleo's place. It's just by the beach (and there is a beautiful walk down if you take the right path, as I assume some of the previous guests, according to the reviews, didn't take). It's just a 15-20 min to the city center walking by the beach or along the road. It's a calm area with lovely neighbors. Full equipped kitchen, big bathrooms and nothing to complain at. Gianleo was very friendly, answered quickly and helped us out when needed. We're also very thankful for the problem-solving when we accidentally broke a table. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a holiday home in Sciacca!

Cozy house consistent with the context. Everything works perfectly and complete beyond our expectations. As specified by Monica, the house is isolated, we suggest staying with another couple. Highly recommended for those who love tranquility even in August.

Great view of the beach, very comfortable living space.

We stayed here for 4 nights , 4 adult's and a child , for a friend's wedding. Soon as we arrived, we felt at home, we were greeted by Paolo who showed us around and Marcello was always available to answer any enquiries. The location and house wow , views and steps down to the beach , moonlight views from the bedrooms and sunsets we didn't want to leave , and will return. Grazie mille

Excellent accommodation, facing the sea and close to the historic centre. At the end of May, it was quite easy to park nearby. Ervin was also good and very helpful in answering any questions!

very spacious apartment, double amenities, terrace with priceless views of the sea, a stone's throw from the port of Sciacca and a 10-minute walk from the historic center. Kitchen equipped with everything, very welcome fresh water and fruit juice in the fridge. Warm and familiar welcome, much appreciated the detailed list of bars, restaurants, trattorias and pizzerias in the surroundings provided by Mrs. Marilina, with tips on the best specialties to taste. Always attentive hosts that everything went smoothly during our stay, Paolo is always very quick to respond to our requests. Very close main beaches, one practically below the house, the others just a few minutes away by car. Definitely positive experience and to recommend!

A beautiful apartment, extremely clean, with lots of details in the decoration, which made us feel at home. The apartment is very well located, in the heart of a small and charming fishing village, from which you could get in a very short time (5-15 min) to the main attractions of the area: Agrigento city, the Valley of the 7 Temples, the Sacalla from Turchi…) Massimiliano, a super attentive host, greeted us personally and gave us a lot of tips and recommendations. Without a doubt, if we ever return to Sicily, we would return to Massimiliano's apartment 😀

Debora's place is amazing! 5 minutes walk to local beaches and about 10-15 minutes walk from town. there is plenty to do and supermarket and great restaurants close by. The area has a rich history and there is plenty of attractions locally and in driving distance. Debora has a long list of fantastic recommendations and was very responsive and helpful with all our questions.

Ideal location away from the crowds to see Agrigento and other towns in the region. The apartment is very clean and well equipped. There is a charming view over the sea and marina. The parking space is invaluable. The village has cafes but the supermarket is 5km away.

Simply amazing! We wanted a peaceful location that allowed us to escape & Rossano's fit the bill perfectly. We were close to numerous beaches and enjoyed sitting on the deck taking in the views. If you want a location where you can enjoy your surroundings and get a feel for typical Sicilian life-this is it. I would highly recommend & we will be back!

beautiful house, wonderful space, Close to the beach and wonderful view. it was early. spring and the weather was cold-ish and the house has a very good heater. also AC in all rooms. lots of beautiful books and magazines about art, Sciacca town, sicily in the living room. also great recommendations where to eat. kitchen is super well equipped and we felt really at home cooking for the family. the only thing that hat it is not mentioned in the description of the apartment is that the place is a house divided in 4 apartments. one of the rooms has an exit door and windows directly to the entrance and patio of one of the apartments. so when people are there and talking normal, there is no isolation to the sounds coming from outside. same to the apartment above, someone was cleaning up there in the evening and it was very hearable. there is no ceiling lamp in most of the rooms and at night the light is low. all for all we had a lovely time and loved our stay.

Our main criteria for this stay were a quiet place with easy parking, not in a city, and close to Agrigento and Selinunte. Giuseppe's place fit these criteria perfectly. It was spotlessly clean and easy to find with Waze. Giuseppe met us at the gate and gave us a tour. The place seems to have been recently refurbished and was comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment for an evening meal. He is very responsive and lives three minutes away so he is reactive in case of problems. We needed him to regulate the electricity and he arrived quickly. We appreciated the welcome cookies and lemons. We would recommend Giuseppe's place for visiting this part of Sicily.

We had the most amazing stay at Salvo’s Villa! The room, balcony and terrace was even more beautiful than the pictures. The kitchen is small but sufficient. It‘s only a two minute walk to an amazing beach which wasn’t crowded at all at the beginning of June. Salvo is really welcoming, gave us a lot of tips and was always available when needed though still giving us enough privacy. A car is definetly needed but it’s only a 10min drive to Licata where you can find everything you need. Thank you for having us!
