Holiday rentals with lake access in St. Mary's County

This is our 2nd time being here and we were not disappointed! This house has a beautiful view. Pooja is a wonderful host. We were welcome with a basket of snacks. Kitchen and bathroom are fully stocked. Pooja provided more than enough for our stay and we had everything we need. House is clean and beds are comfortable. My family had a great time fishing and kayaking. Thanks Pooja for your hospitality!

My mom, sisters, friends and I enjoyed a relaxing fun filled time at the Coastal Oasis at the Chesapeake for our Mother's Day Retreat. The view is amazing and truly can be seen from every room in the house! Being able to see the beauty and calmness of the water helped each of us kick back and let the stress melt away. The big dinning room table allowed all of us all to enjoy breakfasts, dinners and touching conversations together. My guests loved the décor and raved about every detail. The beds and furniture were comfortable and house clean. I would definitely come back!

Andrea was so responsive from day 1 when I had questions about the house! We had 10 people in town for a wedding and her house was only 3 miles from the venue which was ideal! The house was clean and had nice little extra touches; the bottom floor was surprisingly spacious and perfect for hanging out! And the hot tub was a nice add also! Overall, it was a great experience!

Had a great weekend in the Northern Neck here! We watched a pod of dolphins and stingrays from the backyard, enjoyed easy access to nearby parks, and had a great time cooking in the kitchen. This is seemingly a very recently renovated house, and all the towels, sheets, beds, etc. seemed brand new as well. It was super clean, super comfy, and the hosts were very responsive! I liked that the property was surrounded on one side by forest as well—it was nice and quiet and secluded. Finally, they have a super cute collection of board games disguised as old timey books. I'd definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful vacation here. Although it rained during our stay, we found the treehouse to be a great place just for listening the rain drops and having some inner peace.

Tricia was incredible and her place is beautiful, clean and fun! She has provided lots of additional, thoughtful and couldn't have been nicer. Highly Recommend for anyone who is looking for a peaceful, beach getaway!

Jian was an amazing host he replied to us within minutes and had YOUTUBE instructions for all the smarthouse devices . this home is well worth the stay crabbing hanging on the dock the screened in porch. my dogs had a blast exploring the property freely i 1000 precent recommend this property for s peaceful relaxing time with your friends and family

Location, both the island and apartment, is wonderful. View of the water. Close to restaurants. Our stay this May was peaceful. Host treated my spouse and I kindly. Super clean apartment. Advice: do the easy hike to Calvert Cliffs for fossils on beach. Visit the Annmarie sculpture garden and art center. It's a true gem.

We wanted peace and quiet and that’s what it offered. Our children sent me for my birthday. We arrived at night so it was hard to see the address that’s when we realized others were on the property. Very clean and fresh. A few more kitchen amenities would have been nice. A nice touch of a birthday balloon and treats. We would come back again. Thanks

As always, just an awesome getaway! The minute I pull up to the cottage and look out at the water, any stress just disappears. I’ve been coming here for a number of years and Angela and her cottage are second to none!! Angela is a wonderful host and provides great directions and recommendations and the cottage is just perfect. Thank you Angela for having this little gem!!!

We had an amazing stay! Daniel was an incredible host—friendly, responsive, and made everything so easy. The property itself was absolutely beautiful, with a rustic charm that made it feel cozy and welcoming. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing holiday weekend at Dave and Jenny’s cottage! They were always so quick to respond with any requests we had! The cottage as perfect and just like the pictures. They literally had thought of everything! The sunsets were absolutely stunning and it was truly the most relaxing time we’d had in a while! It was just what we needed !

Loved the cottage! Quiet, peaceful, and homelike, just what we were looking for. We particularly enjoyed the fishing and crabbing- would definitely return!

This lake house was such a relaxing place to stay! Had everything we needed and then some. It’s a bit of a hill to climb to get back to the house from the lake but not terrible. The beach recommendations were great! We found a ton of shark teeth and the kids really enjoyed themselves.

This won't be a long review...just know that Britta's cottage was AMAZING, and I regret not staying longer! I will definitely be back! I hated that it rained the weekend that we were there, but the house was cozy and had enough entertainment to stay inside and be satisfied! Britta's place was literally a home away from home!
