Waterfront holiday rentals in St. John

Maxine is a great host! Very responsive and cared about us. We loved the location, sitting out with our coffee in the morning watching the boats go. Lovely breeze and views of the islands. Quiet beaches nearby, restaurant and ferry only a few minute drive away. Excellent location for exploring the island. It felt like home, we would absolutely stay again!!! Our only suggestion, which Maxine was quick to respond to, were concerns with bugs in the kitchen. It's a tropical Island, so to be expected, just know that ahead of time. But it was not a big deal for us. We kept the kitchen clean, food sealed/in the fridge, brought the trash out. Other things we appreciated. The kitchen is fully stocked, had everything we needed to cook (paper towels, sponge/soap). There was snorkel gear, beach chairs, towels, a cooler, lots of leftover sunscreens, books to read, shampoo, soap, hair dryer. We didn't need much. Thank you Maxine for your hospitality! We're looking forward to our next stay!

We called once we arrived and picked us up right away. She was very friendly and told us a lot of useful information. She brought us to the house showed and told us everything we needed to know. She went above and beyond to help us with wify and setting are phones up so we could easily find the house. Leaving she made it simple and time saving. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. We enjoyed staying at A3 Sea Urchin! It was roomy, clean, bright, and as advertised. The bed was sssoooo comfortable! A/C worked great! A perfect central location to go to the National Park Visitor Ctr, walk into town to eat, shop, watch a sunset, get ice cream (*Our Market Smoothies*); also was great being across from beautiful Mongoose Junction complex where we enjoyed the North Shore deli, Scoops ice cream, snorkel rental, an ATM, great shops, and easy taxi drop off (we didn't rent a car). Patrick was a huge help with directions , advice on the drinking water (after buying bottled water, we ended up drinking the tap water which was fine), and amenities! We filled up a big bottle with tap water and left it just inside our door, to rinse off after returning from the beach. Happily only encountered a few stray mosquitos and bugs at the beach! Every beach is gorgeous and the "painkillers" are yummy! If you don't rent a car (we didn't) bring cash for the taxi's! It's paradise!!

A perfect place to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary! Very clean, well equipped, and the view was so romantic during our candlight dinners! Everything was very comfy. Walking distance to restaurants and markets, yet nicely secluded. Views of the Bay from every window, and not far from the best beaches with a good jeep. James was quick to answer all questions. We would rent this place again!

We loved this condo. Well appointed kitchen including a dishwasher and all the appliances you could ask for. Washer and dryer were very useful after a day at the beach . Everything was so close that we didn’t feel we needed a car (even tho you get a dedicated parking space). Shared taxis to the beaches are just 5 mins walk away. We appreciated use of the included beach chairs which were easy to carry on trips .

Pauline was an incredible communicator from the moment we booked. My wife and I could not have possibly asked for a better location for our first trip to St. John! The views were incredible and we enjoyed the patio every single day. We can’t wait to come back and we’d highly recommend this Airbnb!

Phil was just as accommodating as his place was beautiful. From the start Phil was very quick to respond and extremely helpful. Our flight was very delayed in leaving the island and he even offered up his place if we needed it for an extra night. The location of his place on the property could not be better. The place is more than perfectly trimmed out. If you have stayed at a Ritz before, this is all that you expect and more.

Amazing, with breath taking views we arrived in mid April the weather was perfect high 82° with humidity at 60% didn't need the A/C for our stay. Kirsten was is amazing host I definitely recommend this little gem 💎 thank you Kirsten for your hospitality stay blessed Anderson & Teresa M.

Water Island was absolutely beautiful! Our stay was amazing—even when we ran into island-related issues like a power outage, both Isla and Erin were quick to jump in and get everything up and running again, even over Easter weekend! This was our first time visiting the islands for my birthday trip, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location was stunning, with the best views! Haze was an angel—such a sweet boy who kept us company while we missed our own cats. We’ve already decided to make this a yearly tradition and plan to stay at Isla’s for many years to come. We absolutely loved this place—it was the perfect getaway!

We really enjoyed Julies dwelling. It was in an area that was laid back and comfortable but had all the amenities needed in walking distance. The beach front was amazing with its clear clean water and access to two reefs that provided fantastic snorkeling. Coffee shop, bar, restaurants were just a short walk away. Julie was very flexible with us and was very very responsive to any of our questions.

Im just going repeat what has already been said. This property was beyond expectations. The views alone are breathtaking. Its safe and the beds and rooms were all top notch. I will also say...in the event you didn't pack something...Im 99% sure it will be there. From cotton swabs to Games and novels. The book of local things to do, eat and visit is so exhaustive I doubt you will find time to do it all. I could not recommend it more. Book and enjoy your stay!

Sea La Vie was the perfect St. Thomas escape. The space is clean, stylish, and peaceful, with a fully stocked kitchen that made cooking at home a breeze. The pool area was a highlight – quiet, with plenty of lounge chairs and an incredible ocean view that we never got tired of. The hosts were welcoming and responsive, and the location made it easy to explore beaches, restaurants, and local spots. Whether relaxing by the pool or enjoying dinner on the deck, every moment felt like paradise. Highly recommend!

Loved everything about our stay! The place was beautiful, very close to restaurants/shops/beaches, super clean and comfortable. Theresa and Kyle were fabulous hosts and we would love to stay here again! We would recommend renting a jeep as the hills leading up to the house are steep.

This Airbnb was great. My finance and I really enjoyed our stay. The view was beautiful and especially more beautiful on a rainy day. It was quiet and private. Just overall amazing, absolutely loved it! ❣️

Nice little condo on the water, with great views!

My best friend from college and I took a much needed girls trip and this condo exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, clean, quiet, had an amazing view of the ocean and we were even left a welcome gift. The condo was fully stocked with the basics and the condo manager picked up our groceries and put them away before we arrived. The private beach and pool were perfect and don’t sleep on Sangria’s. The food there was amazing and my friend who has celiac said they had the best gluten free pizza she’s ever eaten. If we had any questions the hosts and condo manager were quick to respond. With all of the complaints people have nowadays with Airbnb cleaning fees and requirements we were shocked that all we had to do upon leaving was lock up. The only suggestion we could possibly make would be to maybe have a list of favorite restaurants, bars or things to do that a tourist wouldn’t think of doing. Our stay was absolute perfection and we’d definitely come back.

From start to finish, great experience! Staisha answered the phone on the 1st day when I was on the wrong street. Amy answered me every time I messaged her with a question. Both were prompt & courteous. The condo is absolutely beautiful & met all of our needs and desires. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend Amy!!! Thank you!

The location was gorgeous. The view and the beach were amazing. It was a short quick walk down to the beach, pool, restaurants, and beach bar. You definitely need a vehicle to explore more of the islands, but after spending a day beach hopping, the one at the condo was by far our favorite for both swimming and relaxed snorkeling (even our teenagers agreed)! We’ll definitely be back again!

Tracy’s place is perfect! Walking distance to great restaurants in Cruz, the ferry, and the taxi stand. Could not have chosen a better area for our first trip to STJ. Her welcome guide is super helpful and the condo has beach chairs, coolers, towels, etc. so you can pack light. Would definitely recommend having a few things delivered from the grocery store (we used Dolphin Market but it is walkable). Don’t miss a happy hour at Beach Bar!

This home was well appointed and very comfortable for our family of six. We loved the convenience of being able to walk to restaurants and stores and felt very safe doing so. The kitchen was well stocked and they had plenty of beach accessories available too. Absolutely loved the view. It was stunning!

Ryan is helpful and prompt , I appreciate the time he took to address my many questions and the patience shown. My son had a great time and felt at home.

Amazing unit with an incredible view! Steps away from downtown cruise bay and the beachfront restaurants. The unit is great for a couple or a small family. Felt much more spacious than the photos made it seem. The check in was smooth and the facility and pool was well kept. Definitely will look to stay here again when visiting St John!
