The "Alte Metzg" is the slightly different accommodation in the village of Appenzell. The boutique guesthouse and the hostel are welcoming guests for a relaxing and carefree stay in the house, which is over 500 years old. The entire building was newly renovated in 2021. Pension and hostel are two independent areas, rooms can be booked individually. You'll love this stylish, homely room with lots of elm wood. It can be found in the traditional Gasthaus Löwen, in the middle of one of the most wondrous villages in Switzerland. Right next to it you will find a bakery with cafe, grocery store, post bus stop and lots of nature. The Alpstein massif with the Säntis is right in front of you. In 2 min ship stop Murg, Post office, ATM, village shop. 5-10 min walk to restaurants. Winter and summer-friendly with wonderful hiking routes as well as gondola lift to the ski resort. Room also longer term for rent. Then, however, you can get a parking space at an extra cost. Kitchen and bathroom can be used.

The studio is ideal for longer stays. It offers a small kitchen with a coffee machine on 25 m2, next to a comfortable bed (180 x 200), a small dining/work table with 2 stools, a closet, a wardrobe with a suitcase rack and a stylish bathroom with a rain shower. Of course, the studio has WiFi, a safe and a TV. Kitchen: there are pans but no oil or spices. Frying pans are not allowed for fire safety reasons. Please register pets (fees apply).

Our"Landhaus an der Thur" is centrally located in the village of Alt St. Johann. It has 7 double bedrooms, some with balcony. All are individually decorated and equipped with TV/radio/WIFI. Our guests have a coffee corner with free coffee/tea, as well as a fridge for personal fresh products. We do not serve breakfasts. Within 100 meters there are two restaurants and a grocery store. Daily cleaning is included in the price.
