Pet-friendly holiday rentals in St. Francois County

The house itself is exactly how the listing shows - pretty spacious with everything you could need (washer/dryer with detergent, equipped kitchen, nice living room etc). It is a bit far from restaurants/grocery stores/etc, but was a decent spot to get to different hiking trails

I originally had this property reserved with the previous owners. When it sold a few weeks before my party, I was worried but Krista graciously accepted my reservation request right away. The property was exactly what we needed for my friend’s bachelorette party with around 14 guests. We never left the house and had an amazing weekend! Lots of fun indoors and out. The bedrooms have adult size bunk beds which was a huge selling point for our big group. We would 100% come back again!

Very cute, well decorated. and comfortable. Lovely fenced in yard if traveling with a pet. Felt right at home. Check-in and check-out was extremely easy.

Absolutely beautiful little cottage! My wife and I needed to stay local for a wedding over the weekend and this was the perfect place to stay! Quiet little house and decorated so comfortably. Donna was the sweetest person to talk to and accommodated us splendidly, even with a generous check-in and check-out time as needed.

Very charming home, felt completely at home while we were there. Everything was as promised and as listed and host was super accessible. First experience with an airBNB and definitely won’t be our last. She even welcomed our 4 legged family member with a treat. Truly above and beyond!

We had a great time and the location was perfect. It was clean, peaceful and comforting. Just a few little minor details for improvement would be to have more toilet paper at hand, the pressure of the water from the main bathroom was weak but manageable., And the bath stoppers did not work, but no places perfect not even my own home - overall experience was great

Nice place! One small bedroom with good sized bed. Pet friendly even had a crate in closet but we brought our own. Has a window unit in the room and also one in main living area so it was a comfortable stay as bed room could be kept cool for restful sleep as long as you don’t mind the ambient sound of the a/c fan blowing. Small tv in bedroom (didn’t use) but living area has larger tv with several viewing options. Walking distance (2-3 blocks) to city park, skate park, and the main street where carnival and festival area was setup which is why we were in town. Police station is 2 blocks away so this felt safe and street out front had minimal traffic. Note - there isn’t a driveway so you have to unload from and then park alongside the street. Steps required to access the home. Has full size fridge/freezer, cook stove, small dining table, washer/dryer combo, Kuerig (with a few pods provided). Very clean place. Noteworthy how clean the bathroom was. Would definitely stay here again.

oh. my. goodness. there are no words for the experience we had here. the location was absolutely beautiful with all the different weather, snow, rain, tornadoes!!! there are so many trails to ride here, come on bring them them ATVS!!!! Kevin and Ashley were above and beyond helpful through everything!!! great people!!! absolutely loved it here, hope to be back!!!

The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. Their hospitality made the experience even more special. If you’re thinking about booking, do it! You won’t be disappointed; this place is a hidden gem! The site itself is absolutely gorgeous — peaceful, beautifully designed, and a perfect blend of comfort and nature. Whether you’re lounging around the campsite or heading out for the day, it’s the ideal escape from the everyday hustle. There’s also a ton to do nearby! We enjoyed some amazing hikes, and the owners gave us fantastic recommendations for local spots and activities. Their advice really helped us make the most of our trip.

An unforgettable weekend retreat! This was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The setting was incredibly peaceful and serene—ideal for a relaxing escape. I loved walking the scenic trails with their sweet golden retrievers, soaking in the pristine hot tub, and spending quiet moments in the hammock and by the fire. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to create a truly restful experience. Benka and Keith were exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was perfect—especially for the price—and had everything we needed and more, including a fully stocked kitchen and the added bonus of a washer and dryer so we could head home with fresh clothes. The fenced-in yard was a huge plus for our pups, and our whole family loved watching the wildlife, especially all the friendly cats and adorable kittens. In fact, we loved it so much, we came home with a new furry family member! Highly recommend for a peaceful, pet-friendly getaway.

I was looking for a quiet getaway, and this little cabin fit the bill. Though I'm not much of a camper, Kevin and Ashley's place is a great set up for people like me who enjoy the outside but prefer a more "glamping" feel. Kevin and Ashley were helpful and proactive in their communication. Great place, great hosts.

I stayed here for work. I got excellent sleep during my stay. The area is peaceful and private. It was a fantastic place for my dogs. The grill and picnic table were a must on my days off.
