Reeds and Rushes Lakeside cottage sits on 5 acres on Long Lake in northern Maine in the quiet town of Saint Agatha. This quaint cottage is professionally renovated with exquisite detail. A public boat launch is a quarter mile down the road to conveniently launch your boat and bring it over to our private dock. In the winter, there is ample parking for your snowmobile trailer and access from the property to the lake trail. Unfortunately, this exceptionally clean abode does not allow pets.

There are two living rooms, 1 with a queen fold out bed. Trails are easily accessible by both ATV and snowmobile. Property is within 5 minutes of both Little Madawaska and Madawaska Lake. There are 3 man made ponds on the property along with multiple walking trails in which you may see wildlife.

The Loft

This space is warm and cozy during our cold northern Maine winters and air conditioned for those few 90 degree days in July and August. We cater to hunters, fishermen, snowmobilers, and leaf peepers. The mbr has a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has a queen and a twin. Guests will have a beautiful view of Portage Lake and surrounding areas. For moose hunters, we are located in zone 2 with a short drive to zones 3,5 and 6. Snowmobilers love the easy access to ITS85 and ITS90.
