Anna’s place is perfect for a large group (there were 5 of us) - much better than the photographs suggest. There are lots of nooks and separate spaces to sit in and watch the sea. Anna was a superb host and very gracious when we were unintentionally very late to check in. As the other reviews suggest you need your own car to get in and out of town. The walk to the old town of Cefalu is 30 minutes down the road you drive in on which has no footpath and is quite unpleasant. The bonus about having your own car is you can also explore the surrounding mountains (which are stunningly beautiful). The kitchen is well appointed but bring your own coffee, tea, milk and other basic supplies which you can find in the fabulous “deco gourmet” in Cefalu (which also has free parking if you buy more than €20 from their store). If you’re looking for a peaceful, comfortable space with lots of outdoor areas for a big group, beautiful views and less than 10 minutes drive out of Cefalu, it’s perfect.

We had a great few days at Silvia's place. Many great beaches can be reached on foot. The property is very quiet and makes you feel right at home. Silvia is a great host, thank you!

This is a stunning beach house perfect for a summer vacation. It boasts a large, beautifully maintained garden, creating a peaceful and private oasis. The highlight is the big, sparkling pool surrounded by comfortable loungers, ideal for sunbathing and swimming. The patio, equipped with a dining area and barbecue grill, seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living for enjoyable alfresco meals. Adding to the charm is the very hospitable owner, who took care of us throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect vacation.

We loved our stay. It is in the middle of nature, very quiet and with an incredible view. Paolo was very sweet and helpful and shard a lot of information about the area and what to explore including recommendations for restaurants. I would recommend it a 100%.

We had a great time for 2 weeks. We were very well hosted by Carmen, charming and available throughout the stay. The house is spacious and well-equipped. The rooftop terrace is shaded early in the morning to enjoy a coffee facing the sea and in the evening for an aperitif: it's great. Very efficient A/C in every bedroom. The photos perfectly match reality. Large beach 100 m away, pleasant and relatively uncrowded.

This home just outside Cefalù was just amazing- many things to do at the property at the beach nearby and also a short drive from the Cefalu town center / beach

Giuseppina and Vito's apartment is really an incredible place, the veranda facing the sea is really a treat. The apartment is equipped with all the comforts with double kitchen, one inside and one outside. Attention to the smallest details and with good taste, nothing is left to chance. If you want to experience a super relaxing vacation without missing anything and facing the sea, this is the perfect place. Finally, Giuseppina and Vito are two truly exceptional hosts. We hope to be back again!

We loved our stay with Jaana and Nicolas. Jaana was such a lovely host, who was always available when we needed something and gave us proactively extra tips. The house and garden are like a paradise, we absolutely loved the pool especially our 3 year old son since the entrance is very shallow. Everything is done with so much love and taken care of so extraordinarily. If you want an apartment that exeeds your expectations, this is the place to go. We even got a breakfast, wine and some other groceries for the first day. The kitchen is super equipped since we also cooked there. Thank you to Jaana for making our stay such a perfect experience.

Beautiful and quiet location with a spectacular view. It was about a 30-40 minute walk to Cefalu centre, which was manageable and quite beautiful. It was definitely nice being in a quieter neighbourhood instead!

We were allowed to spend 2 weeks at Diane's villa. Daniele is a very friendly and straightforward host and welcomed us superbly and gave us good tips. Everything was clean and perfect for us. Quiet and private. Great is the proximity to the sea, it's really only a few meters and the beach is nice and quiet and not crowded. Shopping nearby and close to the highway for possible excursions. Beautiful villa located with a wonderful view over the valley and Castelbouno town. The house was great with bedrooms on three different floors and the garden was very nice with many different lounge and dining areas. The pool area has amazing view and a really nice pool, though no fence so small kids must be watched. This is a perfect location for day trips to Céfalu with surroundings and we also really enjoyed Castelbouno town. Rosanna and her husband (and the dog Amica) took great care of us and were always available if we needed anything. The only minor issue was that we had a few power outages, but that was quickly fixed. We had a great time and would love to come again!

My family and friends had a simply wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. We chose it because it was a little further off the beaten path and more “authentic old Italian villa” feeling than other places in Sicily. And it delivered exactly the experience we were looking for and more. The villa itself was spacious and yet adorable. Huge old and beautiful windows and doors to bring the outside in. Had everything we needed. The views and outdoor space around the villa were also so lovely and enjoyable. Beautiful little olive orchard. Terraces and outdoor entertaining spaces galore. The game room and pool were awesome for our kids. The pool is unheated, but warm enough to use mid April. But the best part about this villa was the experiences Rosario coordinated for us. We had 2 nights where a chef came over to cook us dinner. The chef turned out to be the neighbor, who cooked the most delicious Sicilian meals we’ve had. She also arranged a visit to a farm and limoncello maker. Amazing!

Wow, what a place! Terre di Bea is really a super nice location with a fantastic view from the various terraces around the house and by the pool. The plung pool was perfect for cooling off after a walk, and the outdoor kitchen made it extra fun to prepare the tastiest breakfasts, lunches and dinners together. We are a family of 5 (with children aged 4, 7 and 9) and had a great time here. Lazy mornings by the pool we alternated with active trips to Cefalù and the area – with nice beaches, cozy restaurants and cozy medieval streets to stroll through. Our stay at Terre di Bea was really the highlight of the holiday. Thank you Antonio for everything!

Casa Grande lives up to its photos in real life - not always true these days - it is a beautiful old home. A caretaker is nearby for questions.The property is lovely and full of olive, lemon and orange trees, delightful co-habitants of chickens, turkeys and mules that are maybe half a mile away from the house. The view of Torrenova and the sea is beautiful. The swimming pool is well-maintained. The air temperature was barely in the 70s F but the hardiest of us did swim. There are many verandas and patios-we were hard-pressed to enjoy them all in 2 weeks! It is conveniently located about the same distance from both Palermo or Catania - some of us came and went from each. We were a group of 8 family members and it worked well for us. Any questions were addressed quickly. Daily housekeeping (not Sundays or holidays) was nice - breakfast provided and minimal cleaning. Staff was friendly. We spoke Italian so not sure how English or other languages would be handled.

It was amazing to stay at this beautiful place! It’s peaceful and the view is amazing. You have anything you need here for some lovely days in Sicily!

Our stay at Villa nel Monte was beyond expectations! This gorgeous property had all the amenities listed in the description. The house comfortably accomodated our family which included teems to adults. A walk around the property was an instant tonic as it was beautifully landscaped. The location was near all the Etna adventures we planned for the visit. A bonus was seeing the eruption of Mt. Etna from the garden of this property. The local town of Nicolosi was friendly and we would love to visit again.

Piccolo casale is a beautiful historic farmhouse with all modern amenities. The scenery is spectacular. Kitchen is large and well equipped. A delicious traditional Sicilian meal was prepared for our arrival. Thank you Maria and Rosita!! A wonderful stay was enjoyed by all!!

We had a wonderful stay, enjoyed the garden with olive and lemon trees and the pool. Porch with view of the ocean and mountains was wonderful. Shaded area for breakfast was nice! Martina is a warm person and very helpful as a host. It was dark when we arrived and the Sicilian mountainroads are difficult the first time for tourists so it was nice to be in contact with host for help. Recommend to arrive when light out. We enjoyed the two large dogs and several cats around, well-behaved with us and our kids. We got awesome local recommendations from host which really made our trip even better including a drive to the best beach we’ve ever seen. We mixed cooking at home and driving (15-20min) to restaurants. Not good for local area walks but garden is big. We were two adults and 10 and 14 yr old kids. Lots of space. Three bedrooms. Small but fine kitchen (no oven but microwave oven available). Very clean and comfortable, two floors, building separate from host’s. Loved our stay here!!

Agree with the other reviews. This is a great apartment! We would have no hesitation in recommending it. The pool area behind the apartment was a particular bonus. We enjoyed the walk into Cefalù so much that we did it everyday, (but realistically it was nearer 30-40 minutes). Thank you Gaetano for making us so welcome.

Giuseppe was a great host. The location of the house is world class, the view over the valley stunning, absolute privacy guaranteed. It's just a short drive to the Valley of the Temples and Agrigent, and there are also great beaches in the area. Kitchen and bathroom are also perfectly equipped. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.
