Walking distance into the Village of Speculator, the public beach on Lake Pleasant, weekly summer concert series at Speculator Park, Charlie Johns grocery store, local shopping, and restaurants. The Guest House is near Lake Pleasant, Sacandaga Lake, and Piseco Lake. We offer FULL HOUSE intention cleaning. Simplicity and cleanliness are important to us. We also allow 3 days between guests as an extra precaution.

Beautifully designed with well curated fixtures, furniture and kitchenware. And the shower—gorgeous!! Just enough of what you need to hibernate (we didn’t leave the house once!). And if you forgot anything, not to worry—a grocery store is within walking distance. Amy & Ryan are quick to communicate and ready to help with anything needed. We noticed some lightbulbs went out and Ryan came right over and replaced them. They did an amazing job refurbishing this house and were kind enough to share some before photos and it’s truly amazing. You will feel the labor of love they put into this property. A great place to relax and refresh!”
The Henrietta House, built in 1891 is a fixure in the upstate community of Speculator. This 4 season rental property is the ideal getaway to enjoy what the Adirondacks has to offer. Just a few miles from Oak Mountain, hiking trails, a number of lakes and Camp of the Woods. Located on the four corners in Speculator, guests are within walking distance of grabbing a scone and coffee at The Timberline Cafe or a beer at Logan's or cook up a fire pit side feast. Come stay at a piece of history!
