Really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is small but very comfortable and well-appointed. The property is fenced in so your dog can run around without going into the pasture. My husband enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck, and I loved the massage chair! Great location, close to everything. Would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our time at Emerald Treehouse. The mountain views are exceptional. lots of trees and it feels really private. I will say getting up the hill to the property was a challenge. I'm so glad we drive a SUV. The road is gravel with deep holes, so be mindful of that. Another thing is the house had a lot of pet hair on the furnishings. I know the description said pet friendly, but pet hair was all on the couches and the pillows. We didn't have any pets with us. Overall a beautiful house, I can tell it is well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

This was our second stay at the cabin. It is so restful and peaceful. Our 8 year old grandson had lots of fun catching fish in the pond. Patrick is a wonderful host and the fresh eggs are a treat. You can't beat the location!

This cabin was the perfect base camp for a week of biking, hiking, and trail running. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals (but lots of options within a 20 minute drive when we didn't feel like cooking!). We enjoyed being able to bring our dog along with us, and he loved getting to sniff around in the woods by the house. We hope to come back!

Great cabin and host. A little tricky finding the driveway by the gps but she gave instructions. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in the near future

This was easily one of my favorite stays. I used to live in Wolf Laurel, but loved the easy access to both town & nature that Kirk’s cabin offers. The interior is thoughtfully designed and the exterior looks like a storybook cabin. Having the host on-site helped me feel safe as a woman traveling alone with her dog in a remote location. Kirk gave us complete privacy.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Napaw Mountain, a charming cabin nestled in the mountains. The name, a sweet tribute to Nana and Papaw, set the tone for a cozy and welcoming experience. The cabin offers a great balance of seclusion and convenience—peaceful and relaxing, yet close to hiking trails and diners just a short drive away. The hosts provided thoughtful touches like marshmallows and roasting sticks for the firepit, which is surrounded by soft lighting, creating a lovely evening atmosphere. We enjoyed the on-site hike to the water, and dipping our feet in the cool water afterward was the perfect reward. The hammocks on the deck were perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The cabin is clearly made with love, and the hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It’s a peaceful retreat ideal for those looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. Overall, a great place to relax and recharge.

This was an amazing place to get away for some peace and quiet! Michelle was proactive reaching out to us about our stay and so kind and responsive to our questions. She remembered it was my birthday weekend and made sure to ask how we were enjoying our time away from home. The place was so cute and the decor was very unique (love the sinks). Very clean! Will definitely visit again.

Pros: very communicative host who responded quickly, clean, great price, just as described. We had never been to flat rock and were surprised that the town had several restaurants, a waffle house, and gas stations less than 10 minutes away. Cons: not quite as much privacy outdoors as we imagined. There are several other rentals on the farm and guests have to drive right by the pond/front porch of this rental to enter/exit the property. Just about every hour during the day a car was passing right by us. It’s not the hosts fault at all, but one car was particularly loud and disruptive. It just took us out of the moment sometimes, so it’s not a secluded type of environment if that’s what you’re looking for. And it wasn’t advertised as such, so I didn’t take away any stars for this.

This was not our first stay, and it was as beautiful and welcoming as if it was. The view is breathtaking, the cabin so cozy and Linda is a perfect hostess. The previous time we stayed, we had waterfalls on our mind, but this time we focused more on just hanging out and relaxing at the cabin. Such a great place to stay for the adventurous and for the layed back!

What a view from the back porch! The cabin is very well equipped. The drive in can be a bit rough. But very worth it. The cabin was very comfortable for our family to stay in. The falls behind the cabin are worth the trek down the mountain.

We loved Richard’s place! I only wish we were in town on vacation instead of work because I would have liked to spend more time there. I stay in WNC a good bit and this is my favorite Air bnb I’ve stayed at!

Renee's cabin is even more beautiful than the photos, which seems impossible! The surroundings are absolutely gorgeous. You're in the mountains but a quick 15-20 minute drive to Main street where you have tons of shops and restaurants. Renee has a helpful binder with everything you would need to know about where to eat, where to shop, and what sites you shouldn't miss. Inside the cabin is so cute and she has everything you need to cook and hang out, or relax and play a game. Beautiful big windows to see all the beautiful trees and peacefulness. From the kitchen table window you have a little view overlooking the mountain. Renee is super proactive, you never needed to worry about how to check in or out and if you needed anything she was super responsive. She even left chocolates on our pillows. The whole experience was amazing!

We found this place as a last minute get away and we loved it! It's an old 1800's cabin that he relocated to NC and renovated. It's so cool and unique. The bed was super comfy and there were fun games for us to play while there. The hot tub was clean as can be and he offered some fun recommendations. Definitely recommend!

We truly enjoyed our stay! We ran into a minor issue and Morgan was messaging me even at 2am on a week night and had someone out first thing that morning. Beautiful view with the best screened porch!! beds were comfy and plenty of furniture to sit on! 2 moms, our daughter's and 3 other friends and we all enjoyed the view and the girls enjoyed swimming and floating on the lake. They enjoyed the hot tub until a quick spin up storm came through. We would definitely book this home again!

My family fully enjoyed the one week stay at Rebecca’s house. Everything is as described. The backyard is very beautiful and peaceful. The location is perfect - it feels like we’re immersed in the forest, yet we’re just a short drive from town.

As soon as we got to the treehouse we were ready to plan our next stay here. It was even better than the photos. We had no difficulty finding the treehouse or getting to the parking spot. We have stayed in a different treehouse before and we couldn’t stop talking about the attention to detail this one had. It felt very cozy and clean. Both beds were very comfortable. The AC unit kept the whole cabin nice and cool. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed. We hiked up the short trail to the waterfall and then walked through the bike trails to check out the rest of the property which was lovely. We only stayed one night as we were passing through, but we cannot wait to come back!

Eileen’s place came highly recommended by our son and daughter-in-law who had stayed there, and it definitely measured up! It was secluded, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful woods. The design inside had beautiful pine floors and ceilings. I was very impressed by the fully stocked kitchen, from pots, pans, & cutting boards to salt, pepper, and spices.

this cottage was everything we hoped for! i booked it for my friends and i for a college graduation, and it was gorgeous. it was a peaceful getaway from the world, very tucked in. the only thing that was a little confusing was getting there, but we consulted the map and figured it out. other than that, everything was absolutely perfect! we loved it and would book again if we are ever in the area once more!!

Spent Memorial Day weekend here with my family to spend time with friends on Lake Adger and this cabin did not disappoint! Very spacious, comfortable beds, and the jetted tub was just what this Mama needed after running around with her littles during the day! Will stay here again in the future!
