A compact beach cabin with space for 1-2 people, a cooking area on the terrace with a fridge, a counter and hotplates. Running cold water. Wood-fired sauna where you can take a sauna and wash (camping shower). There is a lean-to and a campfire area on the shore. A rowboat is at your disposal. Composting dry toilet. A cozy cottage by the lake in Karjalohja awaits you about an hour's drive from the Helsinki metropolitan area. The cottage has a living room, bedroom, sleeping alcove, hallway, dressing room and sauna (approx. 44m2). In addition, guests have access to a guest house with two separate small rooms and sleeping accommodations for up to three. At best, the cottage's facilities are used by 2-4 people during the winter months, but during the summer, even a larger group can fit. Here you can relax and enjoy your own peace.

Villa Muurla is perfect place to host family / business gatherings. There are 5 +1 bedrooms, huge living room + dining area and big outdoor terrace. Villa has kitchen and gas grill on terrace. There are also 2 bathrooms + one sauna. There is air conditioning and Villa is newer hot and 2 fire places to keep it warm in winter times. There are 12 beds with linen supplied by the host. During cristmas times we welcome businesses to have their small Christmas party at Villa Muurla.

NOTICE! We keep a 1 day “cleaning break” after each visit. A completely renovated and winterized cottage (64m2 + 25m2 terrace) nearby the sea. There is space for max 6 persons (bedroom, sofa bed and loft) in this with all amenities (toilet, shower, dishwasher, washing machine, drying cabinet, ventilation unit etc) furnished cottage. There is also available a separate wood-heated sauna (built 1980), a small rowing boat and a parking area with electricity for charging/heaters

Our cottage is a great place to try this out! If you wish to have some activities, nextdoor we have fabulous forests where you can hike, pick berries and mushrooms, and see wildlife. You can visit our farm, or you can explore the countryside on your own.

The cottage on the mountain of the gnomes.

The cottage is located on a large 3.5-hectare lot in a secluded area surrounded by small ponds. You can enjoy the gentle heat of the wood sauna and then relax in the warm water of the hot tub. At sunset, you can see moose, deer, and other forest animals grazing in the nearby field from the terrace. You can also head to the nearby forests to pick mushrooms and berries and prepare dinner from them. Small pets are allowed!

Teijo Nationalpark is open for everyone who likes to hiking or just walking around lakes - there is three lakes in neighbourhod. The distance to the nationalparks rutes is about 2 km. There is also a iron works village near by if you want to go around and enjoy own beer and bread from the local brewery and bakery.
