All food is included :) We have finally arrived in Lyon ! The Capital of French gastronomy. After Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille and Nice, we found ourselves obligated to hunt for our favorite addresses in this city! We knew that the food level would be insane and it surely didn’t disappoint. As per usual, we have surrounded ourselves with locals who know their city like the back of their hand in order to present to you the best addresses in town while remaining as far as possible from the downtown tourist traps. Our journey begins with a convenient pick-up from the center of Lyon. During the day, we’ll visit two carefully selected wineries - one traditional, family-run estate where winemaking know-how has been passed down through generations, and another dedicated to natural wines, where you’ll discover a more artisanal and eco-conscious approach to viticulture. If you're joining me around harvest season – typically from early to mid-September, although the exact timing can vary each year – you'll have the unique opportunity to witness this special moment in the wine calendar. You’ll soak in the atmosphere of the harvest and witness the winemaking process, gaining a unique glimpse into local wine culture. Between the two tastings, we’ll pause for a delicious picnic among the vineyards, featuring fresh local ingredients. Nous vous accueillons au domaine de l'Idylle, se trouvant aux portes de Chambéry à Cruet, pour une visite de cave immersive. Un petit tour dans les vignes entourées de montagnes vous permettra déjà de comprendre l'histoire du domaine et sa façon de conduire ses vignes. La suite de la visite vous conduira dans nos chais où nous vous expliquerons les différentes étapes de vinification et d'élevage. Ensuite, vous découvrirez nos cépages locaux (Jacquère, Altesse, Persan, Mondeuse) et bien d'autres, grâce à une dégustation de notre gamme variée. Nice is a beautiful city between mountain and sea with the most delicious and rich food culture. (if you love olive oil and chickpeas) You'll discover the authentic Pan Bagnat (literally the best of the city), some amazing socca (a savory chickpea crêpe), the famous pissaladière (old-fashioned onion and anchovy tart), "melt in your mouth", artisanal macarons with typical and natural flavors (lemon from Menton, roses from Grasse) and more. The best home made ice cream of the city is also on the No Diet menu :) All food is included of course but drinks other than water are extra. (Nissart lesson included too !) Saint-Emilion Wine Tour Tasting from Bordeaux

Go off to explore the lovely medieval village of Saint-Emilion, listed as World Heritage Site by Unesco, and visit two wineries (a top winery classified Grand Cru Classé and a family-run estate Grand Cru) during a 5 hours guided tour with me, a fun & knowledgeable local guide speaking English. Your tour includes 2 wineries visit (introduction about the history of the estate and technical informations about how to make the wine), 6 wines tasting minimum in total and a French aperitif (cheese, cured meat & bread at the 1° or 2nd winery) OR sweet specialities from Bordeaux (macaroons from Saint-Emilion) depending on the day of the visit. I will drive through the vineyard of Saint-Emilion in my van and we will visit together the famous medieval village dating from the Middle Age. The wine tours are always in English. I can do bilingual tours (french & english) only during the afternoon. I offer 2 wines tours : morning (8.30am-1.15pm) & afternoon (1.30pm-6.30pm) The meeting point is in Bordeaux at : 1 place de stalingrad, in front of LCL Bank (with a beautiful view of the bridge :)) Make sure to have breakfast or lunch before ! (only small portions of cheese, cured meat, chocolate & crackers will be served at the first or second winery OR Macaroons & cannelés in the village of saint-emilion).

We are going to: 1. Walk around a beautiful vineyard. The vineyard is located on the slopes of the last Alps foothills at 200-300 meters. There is a magnificent view of the Alps, the Mediterranean Sea and the Var Valley. 2. Learn how wine is made. I will tell you how grapes are grown and what you need to know about vineyards. We will visit a wine cellar, where I will explain in detail each stage of wine production. I will show where fermentation begins, how the grapes are pressed, and where the wine is aged. After all the detailed explanations, it will be easier for you to understand what you are drinking and why you feel these flavours. 3. Taste great wine in the XIX-century chapel. We will taste magnificent wines from one of the most exceptional and smallest appellations in France. Small vineyard, organic wine production, indigenous grape varieties, elegant wines of all colours: white, rose and red.
