Holiday rentals with lake access in Southern Downs Regional

A great place to stay as a group of friends/family. We had a lovely weekend away and hope to be back!

Burramere is a spacious, tidy home set in a sprawling, tranquil location. It was a complete escape from the busy world... far from traffic noise and neighbours. Night time was beautifully quiet and the heavens opened up for star gazing. The home itself was large, homely and welcoming with comfortable bedrooms, tidy bathrooms and a fully functional kitchen (minus a dishwasher). During the cool nights, we took advantage of the firepit outside and the fireplace on the inside. The town of Stanthorpe was only fifteen minutes away, so drinks and groceries weren't difficult to source. We only stayed two nights, but are certain an entire week would be a wonderful way to wind down. Thank you again for a wonderful stay Chuda!

House, location and facilities come highly recommended. Great for a larger/older family as the separate areas give everyone space if needed. Hosts were fantastic and easy to reach. Great way to return to Stanthorpe after an extended period away. Thanks. ❤️

The place is amazing! We went to celebrate my mother in low's 70th. And it was the perfect get away she was looking for. Felt like home yet so far away form the busy life we are always trying to escape :) The place is so clean! The hamper was such a great touch to the already perfect experience. We stayed for 2 nights and the hamper was enough for 2 breakfasts for 3 adults and a kid. Just need to keep in mind that the place is not baby proof or little kids' friendly. As long as we keep an eye on them, they will have the time of their lives :) Spacious and warm. My daughter enjoyed every single minute of the vacation! Brian is an amazin host. Explained all the necessary facilities and gave us recommendations on the surroundings. Highly recommend the place for someone who is looking for a nice vacation :)

This weekend getaway exceeded expectations, the property was immaculate with a welcoming feel. Brian welcomed us and orientated us to the property and attractions in the area. The wildlife, views and fireplace enhanced the experience also. The amenities provided in the cottage and the welcome basket were very much appreciated, definately 5 star care and attention when you stay here, we have already recommended to friends and family. Host was fantastic and clear with instructions how to access the property, had firewood ready for us which was handy due to the cold weather. Place was clean and such a beautiful place to stay especially for kids, we had a 16yo and 5,3yo and it was perfect for all with indoor and outdoor fire. Will definitely stay again when we visit this area.

We had a great stay. The house was very wheelchair accessible, which was a big plus for our friend who joined us. Everything was clean and comfortable. Pippa was a warm and welcoming host, and very easy to contact when needed. The surroundings were beautiful, and we really appreciated the peaceful setting. Highly recommended!
