We loved the open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area downstairs, the separate sitting room upstairs (which was perfect for games & movie nights), comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and of course the games room and hot tub were a big hit! We enjoyed a stay for our party of twelve, and everyone enjoyed their own bed! The place is spotlessly clean and the rooms were lovely. The hot tub was relaxing and we enjoyed the setting. It was great having such a vibey restaurant as Harvey’s just a 9 minute walk away :). Sara is a great host, and is very responsive, she has equipped the place very well, especially the kitchen. We would highly recommend this place for large family or relaxed occasion.

Oh my goodness. What a gem! We are four school friends who meet up for a weekend together every year. We try a different place each year. Not any more. The cottage is beautiful: brilliantly equipped, stunningly decorated and so luxurious. Amazing garden, hot tub is fabulous. This was an excellent location for us to visit family and friends before Christmas. The house was brilliant for our needs. Plenty of space for us all, including a toddler and dog. Brilliant to find such an amazing house that was very dog friendly. Even though I was late in telling Simon about taking a dog, there was a bowl of water, dog blankets and a torch in the utility room. It was also brilliant to be able to access the Sculpture Park free of charge straight from the dog proof garden. Great for long on lead dog walks. This is Simon's home so unlike many Airbnb properties it has some personal features. I did smile when I opened his 'man draw' in the kitchen 😂. The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious. We would love to stay there again.

Great communication. Mateusz was promptly available to deal with any issues. House was clean, clear and welcoming. Towels and basic toiletries provided. We loved the hot tub though it was very hot when just filled! Village was calm and peaceful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Just returned home from a lovely night away with my two sons age 8 and 15. With the age gap between my boys i find it hard to find things we can all enjoy, most of the time my eldest doesn't want to participate in anything other than going out with his friends and his computer. The Lodge was the perfect place for us all to spend time together, with the hot tub and hammock being the favourite part for both boys. We toasted marshmallows in the fire pit as the sun went down which we all had fun doing. We all had a lovely night away from everything, making memories as a family which is priceless. Thank you to hosts James and Victoria for making our stay so perfect :)
