Cabin holiday rentals in South Lawrence

We took a last-minute vacation to the Black Hills to celebrate my son’s 14th birthday. This was a perfect place to stay. The kids loved the loft area. There were plenty of beds. Kitchen was great. I had everything we needed. Plenty of parking out front. Very peaceful. I recommend this place if you want to get away. Great location for riding side-by-side too. The rental place was just around the corner.

What an amazing week we spent in the hills, Mark was a fantastic host, house is absolutely beautiful, we had 9 of us and it was perfect, 3 families, we all had our own space when we needed it, yet enough room for all of us to gather and play cards and chat!! Mark was on top of everything we asked for, its clean, linens are very nice, appliances are up to date and work perfectly!! Hot tub was clean, deck is very enjoyable!!! If youre thinking about a trip to the blackhills... book this place right now!!! we will be back!!

This cabinet was amazing! Would definitely stay here again. Sarah was very proactive in communicating check in and check out details! The place was immaculate!!!

Phil's place is a gem. He certainly describes and shows it as it is in person, minus showcasing the beautiful spiral stairs of the place. The kitchen was very very well stocked and had all the necessities that we needed. We loved the views on both decks and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit as well. Very, very cozy and ample towels/wash rags for everyone. Very quiet neighborhood with sightings of deer and jack rabbits! Wonderful place Phil and Tracy- the home itself was a little slice of heaven!

Absolutely worth every penny. Amazing location, spacious, and clean. They have thought of the little things down to including baby supplies and labeling the kitchen for easy use. Communication is great and directions are easy to follow. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip out!

The pictures do not even do this cabin justice! It was beautiful and my family made many beautiful memories there! I would highly recommend!

The Creekside Cabin was perfect for us. I highly recommend staying here! It was a great location for the sightseeing day trips we had planned. It was wonderful sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the mornings. The entire place was very clean! You would think that being by the creek with lots of trees and other nature stuff that there would be bugs and/or evidence of bugs - BUT NOPE! No spiders or anything, not even a mosquito! Very Impressive! The only downside was we were SO busy, we didn't get to use the hot tub. Next time!

This was the coolest place! We loved it and it was even nicer than the pictures and way bigger! We were able to sleep our kiddos on the floor in the bedroom even which we didn’t expect. There were lots of sleeping options though with air mattresses and sleeping bags. We would stay here again

We had a very good time staying here! The place was even more then advertised! The sitting area behind the house was very private and perfect for morning coffee and some late night drinks! Mary was nice and respectful as well as very clear with her instructions. This place is close enough to town to have access to dining and entertainment yet far enough away that it was very peaceful! We would definitely like to stay here again.

This was a wonderful spot to stay in the hills. The spot was better than anticipated. It was peaceful. It was beautiful.

We were totally pleased with our stay! This cabin was perfect for us and our little one and doggos. Don and Terri kept in touch while still providing us plenty of space to have our own adventures. We appreciated their responsiveness with quick questions, and they helped us be ready for some stormy summer weather. We loved being able to make meals--stovetop breakfast, grilling for lunch, oven-baked dinner. The picnic table and charming porch were beautiful outdoor dining settings. We felt cared for and at home throughout our stay. We visit this area frequently because I have family nearby, and this will continue to be our first check for availability any time we travel to the Southern Hills!

It’s a slice of heaven every time we visit. The kind of place that brings peace and joy and reminds you to slow down. Acres of beauty, nature and solitude if you want it. At the same time, within minutes of restaurants and shopping.

Very comfortable, cozy home . Worked great for our stay and very kid friendly. We would definitely stay again!

The host provided detailed directions for finding this cabin which was helpful since it is in a pretty remote location. I would definitely recommend taking the route that has you driving on 3 miles of gravel road and not 11 miles. The woods were beautiful, and we were able to find a nice hiking trail very close by. The yard was also great and the dogs had a great time running around.

We had a great stay at this property! The house was spotless, well-maintained, and tucked away in a peaceful wooded setting—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was proactive, providing clear and helpful directions that made check-in a breeze. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

They couldnt have been better hosts. when my son felt sick Bruce sent feel better wishes. Very friendly. Will help at a moments notice. pool was clean. restraunt great. just a peaceful quiet relaxing place. have been there 2 yrs in a row and will return again. Thanks Bruce!!!!

This AirBNB was amazing!!! We have stayed in many AIRBNB & VRBO's and this by far was this most well organized & stocked. We always bring the most common items that others never carry. We did not have to use one item that we brought. Everything was stocked and actually overstocked in a good way. Allison was very very on the spot with communicating. This cabin was up to date for a very rustic cabin. We were looking for the rustic and it met 100% of our expectations. This was a perfect area to stay in for us because we were just close enough to take in the sights but did not have to put up with traffic and large groups of people. My grandson loved the bunkbeds, since he doesn't have them at home. The master bedroom bed was absolutely perfect. Probably the best bed we have ever slept in. Most of the time they are lumpy, too soft and just miserable. This bed did not fall into any bad categories. I wish we had been able to stay longer but we WILL be back. THANK YOU ALLISON !!!!!!

We absolutely loved this little place! Definitely off the beaten path and it was so peaceful. If you love quiet this is the place to stay! Margaret & Derito were the perfect hosts! Derito gave us recommendations for places to eat, and Margaret made us a wonderful dessert! We loved their trout pond. We are already planning our return visit to this beautiful place! We enjoyed our little trips into Sturgis, Deadwood, Mt Rushmore, Keystone and Nemo. We loved renting an atv and went trail riding. Exploring natural beauty was priceless. We already have a list started of things we didn’t see this trip to hit up next year! Thank you so much for the perfect place for some much needed downtime from our day to day busy life! Don't hesitate - book it. This place is incredible & one of my favorite Airbnb stays of all-time. When they say "Off-Grid Luxury", they MEAN IT down to the detail. The tile in the bathroom, the beautiful fire places, the tools in the kitchen; everything feels elevated, purposeful, and just NICE. We were celebrating our 8-year anniversary and found it to be the perfect place for us two; we didn't leave for the entire weekend. We cooked every meal, sat by the fire and talked, laid in the sunroom and watched birds, and made fires at night to watch the stars. It's incredibly secluded and felt like we were in our own little world (in the best way!) Things to note: it is remote (which is WONDERFUL), but if there's snow, have a car with 4-wheel drive. Also, the closest grocery store is at least a 30-minute drive (I think), so bring food with you! It is SO worth it. I am already trying to plan the next time we can go back!!

This is a beautiful cabin in a stunning location! It was so perfect! The cabin was extremely clean and very well cared for. We will be back!!

Lovely little cottage amidst beautiful surroundings, relatively close to all the Black Hills attractions that you would want to see. Comfortable beds, very nicely stocked kitchen. The hosts communicated clearly and promptly. Our family of four stayed for three nights, using it as our base of operations to visit the Badlands, Rushmore, and Jewel Caves. It was a cozy and comfortable place to land after drives and hikes, and we were able to cook meals in the kitchen each night, with plenty of utensils, pots, pans, etc. (+some pantry staples & spices, quite nice!). The decor is lovely, and the bathroom has a great tub. AC kept the space very comfortable. Only mild complaint- the early morning sun hits the bedroom pretty hard, so if you like sleeping like a vampire (like my wife and I), bring an eye mask, because the curtains are pretty translucent. We’d definitely come back!

Beautiful setting. We really enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the enclosed patio with the pellet stove for the cool evenings.

We stayed in the cabin for one night. It was very easy to find and access, and very clean. And exactly right for all our requirements. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening after a long day sightseeing, surrounded by the undulating countryside. Beautiful birdsong too.
