'A day like a gift' is an experience-type accommodation located in the forest at the top of Domaryeong (700m above sea level) in Minjujisan, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. We have remodeled a wooden house (Dalbat House, 2005) and a family-built earthen house (So Young Hall, 2006) for our elderly parents, so that only one team of guests can stay in the entire house. Recently, a tree house (Wol Forest House, 2024) was built on a 6-7 meter-high Japanese cedar tree in the Wol Forest, and this can also be experienced for free. The experience is divided into traditional cultural experiences and ecological experiences, which are offered in a variety of paid and free experiences. The mud house was built with wood, earth, and stone from the moon field, like the mountain village of our ancestors. You can experience lighting a fire in a traditional house, where you can feel the wisdom of a house that is cool and warm. The words 'A day like a gift' are engraved in the merchant room of the mud house. We will try to give everyone who comes here a simple gift called 'a day like a gift'.

Traditional Hanok Dongchon House (1 team only/free breakfast/free parking)

Dongchonjae is located in Seochon Village, close to Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace in the centre of Seoul. Dongchonjae, built about 100 years ago, is a traditional hanok that has been officially certified by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Tourism Organisation. Dongchonjae has been operated by a retired couple who opened their home since October 2020. Dongchonjae is located on a 380.17 m² plot of land It consists of one building, and the space is the main house (Anche/Main House), Sarangchae/Detached House, and Annex. Guests have exclusive use of the Main House and the Annex. The host is in a separate building I live in Sarangchae (Detached House) and will personally assist you with necessary services such as providing breakfast. We hope you can comfortably experience the tranquil beauty and subtle atmosphere of a traditional hanok at Dongchonjae. "6 air conditioners (2 stand, 4 wall-mounted in each room), 4 fans" Our house is located in the top of the village, so you can enjoy the freedom from the outside gaze or noise during your stay. Outside, there is a large garden (300 pyeong + 990 pyeong in the garden of the environmental office), so the children love it, and the view of the Namhan River overlooking through the window on the second floor and the view from each space on the first floor are diverse and pretty, so adults prefer it. There is also a village-only hiking trail (Gaegunsan) 100 meters from the house, so it is good for light trekking (1 hour round trip).
