We had a lovely stay! The house is a converted school with a huge main room and lots of bedroom space. We loved the convenience of the kitchen and washer and dryer. Lots of great pubs nearby and close for visits to Bristol and Chepstow. Hosts were very responsive.

Quiet terraced house that feels very homely the moment you walk in the door

Great bolt hole for a weekend in Bristol. 10 minute taxi or 35 minute walk into the centre of the city. Lots of great cafes and restaurants within walking distance. House was very clean, modern furnishings and decoration. No complaints at all and would happily go back here when we next visit Bristol

Really great place for group or large family break. The house had everything you could need including board games as well as garden games / activities. We visited with a 3 year old and 6 month old and had everything we needed and kept them entertained. Would highly recommend and would love to return! Couldn’t fault the host or the property

The best Airbnb experience to date. Rebecca is truly the most wonderful host. Friendly, kind and very communicative, we couldn’t have asked for more. The lovely flat is just fabulous. Close to everything we needed, cosy and clean, gorgeous views and in a really beautiful neighborhood. We had an extended stay, and my daughter especially was very sad to leave. A true home away from home. A massive thank you to Rebecca and TJ…. You really went above and beyond.

Had a fantastic stay over a long weekend. The place had everything we could have needed, with a well-equipped kitchen. The place was spotless and beautifully kept. Steps up/down to the apartment were steep but manageable and we were grateful for the thorough instructions emailed beforehand. Emma was extremely responsive and I’m sure would have been helpful if we had any issues or questions - we just didn’t have any!!

Central, accessible, one flight of stairs with double hand rails, worth writing codes given, in notes or paper for easy access. Well thought out beautiful design, very comfortable accommodation, will definitely use again, 24 hr parking at the gallery multi storey. Ideal for weekend break or a few days away!

Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed our stay! It’s such a cosy place, kitchen had all we needed and came stocked with good coffee which is always good! Living room was comfortable and though WiFi is ‘rural wifi’ as described, it was plenty quick enough to watch Netflix in the evenings. Bed was very comfy and clean. Bathroom spotless and with a bath my partner describes as a dream, she really did not want to get out of it! 100% would recommend and would definitely stay again. Great location to discover the surrounding area!

Myself and my girlfriend needed a weekend away and came across this beautiful apartment. It was just what we needed, mark gave us clear instructions of where the apartment is located and how to get in. Easy peasy. The place was gorgeous, perfect size and is just an all round lovely apartment. Mark was great and very responsive and the hot tub added an extra luxury. We would both definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely stay. House was spotless and very spacious. The estate has great facilities (pool, spa, tennis courts, etc) and we loved having access to the lake for paddle boarding. Would recommend the private chef from Ballihoo on the estate. Alasdair was a very helpful and responsive host.

We had a lovely time at calm waters, the house is beautiful… the pictures don’t do it justice! The best thing about the house was the rooftop that gave us somewhere to sit in the sun all day, whereas other houses in the lake only benefited from morning or afternoon sun. This property is amazing for all ages - we celebrated a birthday here and had the best time. The property is large enough that everyone has their own space but cosy enough that you still feel “together”. The location is beautiful and we made use of the pool and the lake. Lots of stubbing places to see locally and plenty of great restaurants. Recommend!!

Oldbury Barn is in a lovely location in the countryside with great views (though tricky to find, so the 'what3words' helped a lot!). The house was nicely presented and lovely and clean. Plenty of pots, pans, mugs (!) utensils etc for a large family group. The open plan nature of the kitchen/diner/lounge is great for a multi generational family gathering like ours, as you are always all together in one huge room. However, note that its a tiled floor and there isn't much in the way of soft furnishings so noise echoes around a bit and can be heard from all bedrooms - but this is only a problem if you have very young kids going to bed early or getting up early! The 2 ground floor bedrooms are large and with lots of storage. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are small with very low ceilings and little storage - fine for kids but we were were 7 adults and one toddler, so that didnt work brilliantly for us . The "slight height restriction" in the description is quite an understatement!!

A beautiful bright spacious modern house with wonderful views across the lake. It is just like the pictures or even better. The lounge and bedrooms are so comfortable and the kitchen is wonderfully equipped with everything you need. Communication was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here.

Just spent a lovely week at Jan's in a party of 13. Beautiful house and gardens in a very peaceful location. Garden was huge and had wonderful views of the lake. House was equipped with everything you need, even down to shampoo and extra bath sheets for the jacuzzi! Will definately be visiting again. Thank you Jan.
