Beachfront holiday rental in South Frontenac

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

Phyllis, & her daughter Jennifer, went above & beyond to make us, our 6yo & 12yo, and our crazy Bernedoodle feel very welcome. They seemed very happy to have us, and even offered us many of their personal things and private areas on their property to enjoy. Unique & beautiful surroundings that push you to relax, with a cozy/charming/glamping-style accommodation that makes you feel at home.

Such a wonderful stay! Beautiful place. Super impressed with how clean, neat, tidy, and well-stocked it is. But especially how homey & cozy this place is! So glad we stayed here :)

This is a beautiful spot, quite private and spacious! We loved the view from the big windows and porches! I hope we can return some time for another enjoyable vacation.

This was our third time staying in 6 months and will not be last, we’ve felt at home and been able to relax and not worry about anything, the space has everything you need to enjoy you’re stay! Thanks for having us!

Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Laughing Moose. The minute I walked in the front door I felt I could live here for ever. The incredible views, the spacious kitchen the stylish little pieces of decor make this place comfortable, relaxing and luxury. Janice pays attention to every little detail to ensure we had a fabulous time! From the selection of quality glasses, crockery and cooking utensils to the games and puzzles ( we completed a full jig saw puzzle between us) we had everything we could possibly need and much more. Even a thoughtful and delicious blueberry pie to welcome us !! We were visiting from Australia and planned this weekend with our two sons and families for a getaway together. It couldn’t have been more perfect and we made such fabulous memories. So much space for all 8 of us plus the 2 dogs! I can’t thank you enough for this special visit! Jeff and Jen were amazing hosts! Try friendly, super helpful! The cottage was absolutely perfect. Just what we needed for a peaceful weekend with friends away from the city. It is right in the water and my golden retriever was super happy about that. The beds and furniture were clean and very comfortable. Everything we needed was in the kitchen and the one thing we couldn’t find (just coffee filters) were provided to us right away. Had a cozy fire the last night and made the perfect s’mores. I will definitely be booking this again, for a longer period and when it’s warm enough for me to go swimming with my dog! Thank you for being the perfect hosts!

We stayed at cabin #1 during October 11-13 weekend. We loved this place. Very clean, cute cabin, worth the price. Amy was very quick to respond. There are kayaks, canoes to use, firepit, bbq grill. We had awesome experience. I am looking forward to book it again. I highly recommend this place for with kids trip. There is beautiful playground by the beach.

Great private place that offers everything you want for a weekend getaway! Host was very helpful and responded within minutes to all our questions. Highly recommended!

It was a great stay and very accommodating. Kids enjoyed the pool table and foosball indoors as well as the pool and lake outside. The kitchen and view of the lake was amazing. Lots of fishing was done from the docks and petal boat and some paddling from the kayak and paddle board (we brought this).

My family had a great time at the resort. Roberto was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The home was clean and comfortable and exactly as pictured. It was. Perfect spot for kids as there is tons to do on the resort grounds and you are 15 minutes from almost all major attractions. The pool was fantastic for kids with a very large shallow end, towel service, life jackets etc. will definitely return next time we are in PEC.

We had a great time staying in Kevin’s home. He is extremely kind and helpful! We felt right at home and very comfortable. We caught a couple of fish right off his dock! Beautiful home and really beautiful scenery. We will definitely come back!!

This was a perfect place to stay to experience all PEC has to offer. Jen was a fabulous host- very communicative and extremely helpful, especially as we enjoyed our first time in Canada. The resort staff were super friendly. The neighbors are fabulous and the house was immaculate and comfortable. Excellent experience from booking through our departure.

Beautiful resort with lots of activities to do especially for the kids. Beds were super comfy and had lots of indoor games as well. Worth visiting during summer.

We stayed here with 6 adults and 5 children and had a wonderful time! The house is quite large and we never felt cramped for space. The house is fully renovated, with lots of high quality upgrades. The backyard is nicely done as well, with lots of room for kids to run around or just to relax and watch the Moira River. Lots of fresh towels, everything was clean and fully stocked, great communication with the host, and flexible check-in and check-out times. There was extra bedding, pillows, games, books, and records. Some of the books and records are inappropriate for children, though, so just double check if you’re staying with little ones before letting them grab whatever they want. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was great. Rustic with a lot of character and reminded me of St Lawrence and Finger Lakes vacations when I was a kid. We've stayed at a number of places on the river over the years and this was the first time upon arrival I turned to my wife and said..."Now THIS is a river cottage." It had everything you could ever want to just be at the river and enjoy yourself. Susan was a great host, gave detailed, easy, and clear instructions and was very responsive.

Leah was very helpful in making sure our stay went seamless. Took care of plowing/snowblowing to make the property accessible to all areas of interest as with going had some awful weather.(Snow with more Snow). lol. Again she was very responsive with questions I had and Informative to the specifics of the area. Cozy spot, great to relax and unwind. Would definitely go again, perhaps a great summertime spot.

We love the lake. We have rented a few different places on the lake over the last 10 years. This cottage is amazing. It’s like we checked into a spa!!! It’s very privet and cozy. The small details of the cottage made my wife very happy, from the bath Salts to the high end towels. The view from the couch of the lake makes you just relax…. We brought up 3 snowmobiles to enjoy the local trails. The main trail is a short ride down the road so we could ride from the cottage. The outdoor lights were so beautiful at night!!! A lot of care has been taken on making its guests feel right at home. We didn’t want to leave!!! I highly recommend this for anyone looking to unplug and relax. We will be back! Simon.

We enjoyed our visit and use of the cottage. Lisa was fantastic and attentive. She was available for any questions and responded quickly. The cottage was very clean and cozy.

Shannon did an excellent job communicating with us and provided us with picture instructions on how to use the hottub, firepit and remotes for the heat and fireplace. She was aware we were celebrating my fiancé's birthday and was so sweet to leave him a birthday card and chocolates. We were also pleasantly surprised to see she had a snack basket, bottled water, eggs, bagels and food in the cuoboards that we could help ourselves to at no extra cost. She was extremely welcoming and allowed us to take our time checking out. We loved our stay at her beautiful home and highly recommend this place.

Every little detail was classy and welcoming. We slept 3 People comfortably. The riverfront access and view was an amazing perk. Highly recommend!

Our first AirBNB experience and definitely won’t be our last! We stayed here over the weekend for my husbands birthday and visited Algonquin Park. The space was spotless and had more amenities than expected! Kim was even able to provide a Pack N Play which made our stay 1000x easier with two littles in tow. The park down the street was great too (90’s/2000’s playground equipment… pretty sure my husband and I enjoyed it more than the kids)! The best part was definitely that view! I don’t think we’ll ever stay in a hotel again after this experience. We’ve already gone on Realtor to checkout available properties nearby lol. Definitely recommend!
