Dome holiday rentals in South East Asia

This place is magical. The tranquility and the beauty is overwhelming. Incredibly wonderful hosts with superb communication. The food is wonderful and the domes are very clean and welcoming. I left there promising myself that I would return someday.

This was by far the best stay I had in Thailand so far. The place was great. The houses and surroundings are beautiful! You can also order food directly through Shanana, which is also really tasty. But the best thing about this place, was the staff and the hosts David and Shanana, they are all really friendly, always answer your messages and questions and went out of their way to make our stay amazing!

The Akasha Team is very very helpful and kind. The place has 2 adorable dogs that made our stay great with their warm welcome everytime we walked in. The whole place including the restaurant is thoughtfully designed. I have to mention, please realise that the Dome room is completely in the nature, there are no closed doors, please choose this room if you are fully okay with staying in the nature completely. If not, please choose another beautiful room in this great establishment. The nicest part about Ubud is that it is full of rice fields and it is very green and full of nature. There are local harmless animals everywhere around you. It is also important to mention that the place is not very close to Ubud centre, sometimes it took us 30-40 mins by bike to get to our restaurant. This peaceful accomodation was totally worth the few days we stayed here.

The host is very nice, the environment is very quiet, the bed is very soft and clean, it feels good value for money, everyone had a great time.💕

Cool open place space with a nice pool and pool table. Had a fun time as a big group :)

Our stay in Pilapil was fun and relaxing, and the kids had an amazing time. Getting to the place was a bit challenging, but Nelson and his staff were very responsive and accommodating. Kudos to the staff for assisting us and providing for our needs! To avoid the rough roads, ask Nelson for the smoother route to their location. The market (palengke) is a bit far, but there’s a small one near the housing area by the farm that opens around 8 AM. The dome was very comfortable to sleep in, with good air conditioning and fluffy beds. However, I suggest adding exhaust fans in the toilets. Also, don’t forget to bring your own paper plates, cups, and other essentials. The kids especially enjoyed the pool and slides—it was the highlight of their stay! We’re also looking forward to the ongoing developments at Pilapil, as they’re building more domes to accommodate larger groups.

Shanti makes you marvel at God's creation even by just simply gazing at trees surrounding you. You can feel, smell and almost taste fresh air. It lets you experience the rawness of nature while still having the comforts of a home. It's like being in the middle of a forest without worrying for a shelter, what to eat, or being attacked by wild animals. As with every natural habitat, few discomforts may come with it like thunder and lightning, ants and mosquito. We also encountered some issues which perhaps they could address like few droplets of rain between the dome and shower door while it was raining. We also couldn't watch movies on netflix because internet connection was so slow. These minor inconveniences though were nothing compared to the relaxation, peace and quiet the place gave us. All of us, including our dogs had a very pleasant stay. We appreciate all the staff who are considerate and and helpful. We are grateful there's a place like Shanti that served as our sanctuary.

We stayed at Komang’s place for two nights, but it felt like stepping into a dream, and we only wish we could have stayed forever! Nestled in the forest, the location is absolutely stunning. Each morning we woke to a breathtaking sunrise and the gentle sounds of birdsong. It was the perfect peaceful retreat. The on-site restaurant is lovely, with delicious food and warm, welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the atmosphere felt more like visiting family than just staying at an accommodation. Despite being tucked away in nature, it’s only a 15-minute drive to restaurants, hotels, and the beach. And as for Bapak Komang, what a phenomenal host! We were visiting the area for work, and he went far beyond what anyone could expect from a host. He helped us connect with local community members, supported our meetings, shared local insights and made sure we were comfortable and cared for. We will 100% be back and 110% reccomend this stay!

Great spot for large groups. Place is as pictured and described. Everything was clean and tidy. Our group enjoyed the facilities. Would recommend.
