This is Josh and Christie's basement studio apartment. There is a separate entrance that you have to yourself. We are just a 5-min walk from downtown, so you can easily walk to dinner, tour downtown, and check out Rapid City. Sitting high above Mt Rushmore Road, light from 3 windows makes you feel above ground. Our back patio is nice for relaxing, and our location is convenient. This colorful, hotel room-like apartment is all brand new. Located on the second floor of a historic downtown building, you will be close to restaurants, businesses and anything in town. Our tiny yet fully appointed kitchen has everything to prepare meals or simply warm them up. Custom-built furniture and lots of color make this one of the more unique rentals in the area. If we wouldn’t use it, we don’t include it. Stay for a night or a week. We’re confident you’ll find everything you need.

Rose Building - Apt 1

Perfect place for any length of stay! On the boarder of both the Downtown and West Blvd Residential Historic Districts. Steps away from multiple dining and entertainment options. One of the only buildings in the area with owned off-street parking. The 2nd floor of the Rose Building was converted from offices to apartments in 2022. You can walk to The Monument for a concert, the bike path and parks, Main Street Square. The perfect place to relax after a day exploring the Black Hills.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located basement apartment. The Central States Fairground, The Monument Civic Center, downtown Rapid City, and Rushmore Crossing are all within a 10 minute drive. We do have full-time tenants on the property with dogs. Some noise should be expected. The pets have their own dedicated space and contact with the pets should be minimal, if at all. We have one security camera located outside the entrance to the apartment.

Bunkhouse on the Prairie

Enjoy a peaceful countryside stay at our working family ranch. The bunkhouse has separate parking and entrance from the main house. The one bedroom features a king size bed and a pullout couch located in the main living space. The kitchenette includes a coffee pot, microwave and small refrigerator. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with shampoo and conditioner dispensers, and blow dryer. Full heat/AC and wifi. The bunkhouse is attached to our garage but completely separate from our house.
