Beachfront holiday rental in South Ballina

The communication with the hosts was fantastic! They were always quick to respond and super helpful, which made our stay so much smoother. The room itself was clean and tidy, and we were pleasantly surprised by the newly updated bathroom – it felt like a little slice of luxury! One of the best parts was the location. It was so convenient, being close to shops and the beach. Perfect for a couple or even just a single traveler. We were there for a stopover on our way to the Gold Coast, and it couldn't have been more ideal. If you’re looking for a cozy place to stay, I highly recommend this spot. It was a lovely little retreat!

Belongil is without a doubt one of the very best locations in Byron and Scott and Mark are great hosts. From the property you can hear the waves and the birds, it’s so peaceful and comfortable. Walk into central Byron, along the beach, in less than ten minutes. Scott’s property is excellent value for money, super comfortable and clean, and is dog friendly with a secure yard. Perfect!

Kathy was a wonderful and kind host. We requested early check in and Kathy responded promptly and was able to offer us this which we were very grateful for! The accomodation was beautiful and peaceful. Everything was clean and felt very homey. There was plenty of cookware, utensils, towels and blankets. There were heaters in each room which kept the rooms warm at night. Overall, very happy with our stay. It was affordable and a great location, only a short walk to the shops, food and the beach! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Kathy xx

Had a great short stay in South Kingscliff with our dog. Beautiful spot for relaxing and walking along the beach. Studio apartment nicely appointed and comfy bed. Debbie was also a great host.

Great location, some sand has washed away and sometimes hard to get down steps on low tide but easy beach access via public footpath right next to house. Bathrooms had soaps shampoo and conditioner, pantry very basic stock olive oil salt and pepper. lots of kitchen supplies. Surrounding make this place- loved the quiet in the morning- great to have had dog beach so accessible!

My partner son and I had a wonderful stay at Lesley’s place - such a treat to go to sleep to the sound of the waves - beautiful Cabarita beach a few hundred metres walk away - Lesley’s place was spotless and comfortable and had everything we needed . Lesley was very responsive with communication and a great host. Thanks Lesley your place is a real gem .

My friends and I had such a lovely stay. All of the beds were so comfortable and there was lots of space. The plunge pool was decadent and being so close to the main pool was fantastic too. Everything was easy and the hosts were super helpful and lovely. Would definitely come and stay again.

Amazing location. Great communication from hosts. The unit is very well appointed with beautiful products in the bathrooms and teas and coffee provided. Easy check in and flexible check out.

Margy and Graham are exceptional hosts — responsive, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The space itself is much larger and more open than it appeared in the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It's just a short walk to the beach, making it easy to head out barefoot for a relaxing stroll along the shore. Treehouse, located only 200 metres away, is a great spot to enjoy live music and pizza on a Friday evening. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a laid-back coastal getaway.

Great place! We didn’t use the bbq and pool as it was raining but the house itself was perfect for 6 people. Walking to the town was taking us about 24 mins, however, ubers were readily available in the area. The house was in a peaceful location.

We loved our apartment! It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Great attention to detail and to the needs of travelers. Location is amazing and we enjoyed watching the surfers every day. Leisa was so friendly and helpful!. We will stay here again!

We loved our stay at Jenny’s place! Firstly, the location absolutely couldn’t be beaten, we were spoiled for choice with restaurants and shopping. The beach is right on the doorstep. The apartment itself was pristine with all the little comforts included. Would definitely recommend to all!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect. The kitchen was well appointed with beautiful new Essteele pots for cooking. Paula was a fantastic host.

Accidentally I chose the right time of year to visit Kingscliff, which was wonderful!!- not too many people about, peaceful, calm and beautiful. Loved watching the Pelicans on the river sitting out in the garden area. The smell of the sea air delicious! The unit fantastic with so many useful amenities …. I didn’t want to leave!! . Steve very patient with the non technical brain!!

Great home - great location - great sunrises! We were a little concerned about the privacy of the home being right next to the public beach access but those concerns quickly disappeared - the home is plenty private with full window shades in every room should you need them. We rarely used them however as the ocean views are spectacular from almost every room of the house. There is also great surfing a few minutes away depending on the conditions and the surf shop in town has quality rentals and anything else you could need. Thank you for having us, Maree - we would love to visit again!

The apartment was beautifully and sleekly furnished with a killer balcony that we spent a lot of time just gazing at the beautiful view . The kitchen was so well set up - champagne glasses - everything you need if you really want to cook a great seafood meal. Beautiful bathroom .
