Take a bike ride to a cozy cafe? Or take a trip to one of Åland's attractions. Mariehamn is at a 20-minute distance by car.

Beach, cliffs by the sea, fishing water; a few hundred meters. Location by a cultural historical trail with a lookout tower. Close to ferries to the archipelago and bus to Mariehamn. The secluded balcony enjoys mid-day and evening sun, as well as a glimpse of the nearby bay. The house is located 150m from the Kökar disc golf course, a local café and a good spot for birdwatching during the migration periods. If you wish to bring a pet, please send us an inquiry first.

Cottage on a small farm

A simple accommodation perfect for overnight stays, or for a couple of nights exploring Föglö. Outhouse and limited laundry facilities but a cozy spacious cottage in the middle of a small farm with horses, chickens, and a farm dog. Close to Degerby, the central town on Föglö. Very close to Föglö church. Own sheets with! Or rent sheets for 5€ per person, payable in cash on arrival. An outdoor grill is available, bring your own charcoal, etc.

Mattas i Finby

At our farmhouse Mattas in Finby, Sund, we can offer a rural and cozy accommodation with 4 beds (two single beds and a sofa bed). It is an apartment on the second floor from the 50s that we have carefully renovated to keep the old-fashioned feel. On the farm there are many different animals (cows, horses, chickens and sheep) and our farm dairy (Mattas Gårdsmejeri). During July, we open a café during the day (11am-5pm).

Your only neighbours will be the sound of the sea and the occasional eagles that swoop overhead from time to time. Getting to the cabin is easy by car or bike from Mariehamn.
