Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sonian Forest

We liked staying with Antoine very much. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and has everything you need. We were there in June, unfortunately it was not too warm. But we were able to use the pellet stove and then it was very cozy. The apartment is definitely recommended and is actually even more beautiful than in the photos. It is right on the street - but that is not really disturbing. The area is really great. You can hike, cycle and visit Brussels, Namur and Leuven. It's perfect for that. We'd come back.

Very spacious and well-kept home in which you can all sit and play and with space to isolate yourself for a while. Cozy courtyard. Spacious kitchen with everything you could need. Wonderfully quiet area with many hiking and cycling routes.

Very nice setting. Terrace looks out over meadow with cows. In the sun till late in the evening. Full privacy. Quiet and beautiful surrounding, perfect for hiking. Small chalet with nice and cosy interior. Be aware that it is basic: everything in the same room (kitchen, table, bed, shower, toilet...). Not able to cook (fridge, dishwasher, sink, coffee machine, oven, small microwave (not on photos)), but no cooking plates. Great terrace with jacuzzi.

The only word to describe this place is idyllic. So beautiful and peaceful. Chantal and franchise could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Highly recommended!!

we had a great stay in the house. The fenced garden was worth its weight in gold with small children. the house is fully equipped, the kitchen very modern, nothing was missing. The beds were also in very, very good condition. We had problems with the refrigerator, then we talked on the phone and a solution was found immediately. Too bad Nicolai didn't mention (at least I didn't read / find it) that there are also children's toys in the room above. Our son was particularly happy about the huge cuddly toy bear. Everything else in toys was more for girls, but that doesn't matter. we would come back at any time and book the house again.

We had a lovely stay at the house, it is beautifully furnished and appointed with great taste. There was everything we could possibly need for our stay. It is conveniently located, not too close to the city centre but only a very short walk from Abbaye tram stop which goes straight to the centre, or to change trams and go to the European quarter. There is a supermarket close by as well, and park areas to walk around. The house is quiet and comfortable, and provides plenty for space for a family or group, provided you don't mind stairs! It would have been fascinating to have had some information provided on the history of the building and neighbouring properties, as I am sure it has quite a story to tell. Many thanks, Alexandra!

Top accommodation where nothing is missing! Very nice host, everything was very nice

we enjoyed the beautiful house in a wonderful location very much. Unfortunately, the weather was not really bad, but inside it was warm and cozy. we would love to come back with nice weather. There's plenty to do nearby, so you definitely don't get bored.

This apartment overlooks the Grand Place. It's a great location - very convenient to restaurants and shopping. The beds are comfy, and linens top notch. We didn't do any cooking, but the coffee maker worked and the kitchen was clean. Everyone we talked to - Kevin and Nicholas - were great - very helpful! Some evenings there are musicians performing in the square - the windows open so you can sit in the apartment and enjoy the wonderful sounds. I'd definitely come back here again!

It was great, short but a very cozy apartment and the jaccuzi is really an extra element. Also, our host was super warm (even the decoration) and very available

We stayed with colleagues for a business trip. Eugenie's flat is amazing, very well decorated and ideally located in the city. Communication with Eugenie was smooth and seamless. We particularly loved the little snacks and coffee capsules that we found at our arrival, that makes us feel like home.

The description for finding the hotel is very clear, everything is well indicated. Access by metro and bus is very convenient, with shops and grocery stores nearby. The neighborhood is quiet, clean and safe, which is really nice. Frankly, this hotel is much better than those located around the Gare du Midi. Very nice stay, I highly recommend

We had a great time at Claire's house! The apartment is tastefully decorated, very well located with a pleasant terrace for sunny days. The neighborhood is very peaceful, with several cafes and restaurants. We would not hesitate to return to Claire's place if we were in Brussels! Thank you very much 😄

Christopher is a responsive, efficient and friendly host. He responds quickly and welcomed me to the apartment and explained how it works. The apartment is very spacious and very bright. The rooms overlook the courtyard, so it's quiet to sleep, although the street is not too busy. The neighborhood is very friendly and lively and the grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants and pizzeria are within a 10-minute walk. The neighborhood is very well served by public transport, which is accessible with a credit card. The apartment was clean and as pictured. It was a lovely stay.

I am so glad to have stayed in Jean-Luc's place. It is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful garden, swimming pool and his well-equipped villa. Moreover, Jean-Luc is a great host, easy to talk to and answers queries promptly and humbly. You will feel comfortable in his hidden gem. He is so warm and friendly.

Our family stay found a very pleasant setting and close to the family we visited. We had everything we needed , for us and to receive friends and family. The nearby bakery was great!! The city of Enghien is very easy to access. The house is very interesting from an architectural point of view, it brings an aspect of surprise, fun, which is suitable for holidays while being very comfortable. We did not light a fire in the fireplace, and the ground floor looked a little cool in the morning. The blue bathroom is exceptionally beautiful.

We stayed at Anthony's villa with 6 adults, a child and a dog. As described, it is a well-equipped property with some additional amenities, such as the built-in fully automatic coffee machine, which leaves nothing to be desired or the fridge that supplies the ice cubes for the drinks. Absolute highlight is the pool, whose water temperature also allows morning swimming. Anthony and Bea are very helpful, easily accessible hosts and kindly allowed us a late checkout. This allowed us to approach the last day of vacation in peace. Worth seeing in the area are Waterloo (10 min drive) and Brussels (40 min drive). All in all we had a very nice time at Anthony and Beas villa. Thanks for that!
