Small and cozy annex, with just what you need to stay overnight. It is located in a peaceful and rural area on Sommarøy, right by the beach. The beach is great for small walks in summer and winter. Little light pollution, so perfect for enjoying the northern lights. The annex has a good double bed and a window overlooking the sea. There is a small bathroom, with shower, sink and toilet. There is a small hallway to hang out, a fridge where you can store some food and a kettle to make some coffee or tea.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

That's why we offer you free rental of bicycles, snowshoes, canoes, firewood, barbecues and kayak for those with experience. The apartment is on the first floor and has large windows. It is in the nature surrounded by the ocean, white coral beaches, islets and reefs, you can see this trough the apartment windows. Park right outsidee and indside you really have everything you might need.

Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.

This is our own home on Sommarøya, which we rent out for short periods. The house is bright and practical, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fibre internet and great outdoor areas. The location is quiet and close to nature, with a short distance to beaches, a shop and great hiking opportunities. Perfect for guests who want to live like the locals and experience Sommarøya in an authentic way. You can find the bus routes on the Svipper app, and there is parking on the property.

With the Devil's Tooth as a backdrop, and no light pollution, this is a unique accommodation to experience the midnight sun, the northern lights, ocean waves and everything else nature on the outer side of Senja has to offer. It can hardly be described - it has to be experienced. You live on the outer side of the adventure island Senja.
